Over the past two months, companies have been scrambling to release 4GB RAM kits to consumers, and OCZ Technology was one of the first to release their "Vista Performance" series RAM. Today, we have on our test bench the OCZ Technology 4GB PC2-6400 Platinum Edition RAM Kit. While the memory speed might not seem impressive to some, the price, capacity, warranty, and Extended Voltage Protection should easily make this RAM appeal to users looking to unleash the full potential of Vista and their PCs in general.

This new storage solution from OCZ is surely the most versatile and innovative we ever seen. It comes with an adapter of the dimensions of a SD card, including an USB 2.0 connection on the same adapter. The performances of this device are not brilliant: in benchmarks we found not very high transfer speed. But we must also say that this is not visible in daily use, the device is very reliable, and also we have the comfort of a memory card that we can use, for example, on a digital camera and on the pc without adapters.

For this review I will be looking at some hardware from possibly one of the best-known names in the PC hardware industry. That company being OCZ and the hardware in question is the OCZ Stealth X Stream 600watt power supply. Whilst most people associate OCZ with memory, rightly so as their memory is some of the best available, OCZ also manufacture cooling products and power supplies too.

I have used cordless mice for years and have never found a corded mouse that I would leave on my system. This is the first one that I would even consider keeping. It responds very well and is close to the same feel that I am accustomed to.

Although DDR3 is still fresh to the computing industry, there are surprisingly many different kits available right now. For our first DDR3 review, we are taking a fresh look at one of the first kits made available back in May, OCZ's DDR3-1333 CL7.

After many complications, we finally got our hands on the OCZ Trifecta... uhh, flash storage device ;) What makes this product so interesting, even after such a lengthy period of time, that still retains our interest in reviewing, primarily exists within the nature of the product itself. OCZ's Trifecta (As the name implies) is basically a three-in-one flash memory product -- it functions as a standard SD card, USB flash drive, as well as a Micro SD -- you can call it a Quadfecta if you count it to be used to be a Micro SD adapter as well. Now, that's an interesting implementation! Let's give this product a close examination today, and we will benchmark to see its transfer rates and latencies as well.

The OCZ ModXStream Series is a new line of power supplies designed to offer consumers a combination of OCZ's legendary PSU architecture and an effective modular cable management system. Available in 780W and 900W models, the ModXStream offers power solutions to gamers on a budget, and hardware enthusiasts alike. The ModXStream was engineered to be the quietest PSU available so gamers can hear their games and not their PC. The load-controlled 120mm cooling fan helps keep the unit operating efficiently, but Benchmark Reviews knows that there is more that meet the eye with each and every power supply. Load testing for AC ripple and DC power regulation will prove if the OCZ ModXStream 780W Modular PSU OCZ780MXS is as good as it looks.

This RAM performs well, but is best used by a 64-bit version of Windows XP or Windows Vista. OCZ also prices this RAM kit well for the amount of memory you are getting. The OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Vista Performance Platinum Dual Channel has latencies of 5-4-4-15 and runs at 800 MHz. the voltage requirements are 2.1V, and the memory carries OCZ's extended voltage protection that allows you to keep the warranty when you overclock so long as the voltage to the RAM doesn't exceed 2.2V.

We all know OCZ for impressing us with great looking heatspreaders on their memory modules. We have seen them on the Crossfire Edition modules, the Special Ops Urban Elite modules, and the original Special Ops edition modules. Besides just making modules that look great OCZ has improved the cooling with their new patent-pending cooling solution called Reaper HPC. This solution uses heatpipe technology to dissipate heat. Read on to learn more about this technology and check out the Reaper HPC modules.

Like a fine wine, installing 4GB of RAM requires an acquired taste. Not everyone likes wine, and not everyone needs 4GB of RAM. However, with Vista and the future looking to change that, many are considering a move on up. Today we are taking a look at a kit that's not only priced right, but has some overclocking headroom as well.
