Taiwanese ABIT announced today the "KN9 SLI" motherboard equipped with nForce 570 SLI chipset for socket AM2. The ATX motherboard supports Socket M2 940 Processor with 2GHz system bus using the Hyper Transport technology. In addition, it features AMD's CPU Cool 'n' Quiet technology for quiet operation. It has four 240-pin DIMM sockets supporting Dual channel DDR2 800 ECC/non-ECC un-buffered memory.

The internal connectors include 1 x Floppy port, 6 x SATA connectors, 1 x Ultra DMA 133/100/66/33 connector, 3 x USB 2.0 headers and 2 x 1394 headers. The motherboard also has 6 ports NV SATA 3Gb/s RAID 0/1/0+1/5 JBOD, 2 x PCI Express x16, 2 x PCI Express x1, 2 x PCI.
