Zidoo's newest X1 II media streamer is expected to be one of the most affordable in the market, while it promises to offer a 70% higher performance and greatly improved decoding capabilities compared to the company's X1 model. The player, which will be available from Amazon in the following weeks, will feature the same classic design of the X1. It is powered by a Rockchip Quad-core 3229 chip and supports decoding of the following video formats:

• H.265 10Bit: 4K2K@60fps (Up to 200 Mbps)
• H.264 10bit up to HP level 5.1: 4K2K@30fps(Up to 250 Mbps)
• 4K 8-bit VP9 @ 30 fps (Up to 200 Mbps)

The ZIDOO X1 II is able to output 4K*2K@60fps video through its HDMI 2.0 port. The pre-installed ZIDOO customized ZDMC (based on Kodi) supports 4K*2K HEVC 10bit UHD video playback, 4K@60fps and HD Audio (7.1CH) passthrough.

It comes with Android OS, optimized by ZIDOO in order to offer
smoother multi-tasking. in addition, the player's firmware uses unified storage, offering users more storage space than other Android devices.

Zidoo has not disclosed the price of the news device yet.
