AMD Radeon HD 6990 Appears At CeBIT
AMD 's Radeon HD 6990 dual-GPU "Antilles" graphics card made its debut at CeBIT.
The card is based on two GPUs and it scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year.
At CEBIT, MSI has on display the "R6990-4PD4GD5"card, which is the company's implementation of the Radeon HD 6990. The company does not provide the specifications of the card, which is expected to be officially announced soon, possibly next week.
The single-slot card does not look any different than AMD's 6000 series. However, it has a single dual-link DVI port and four Mini DisplayPort jacks.
