Asus has updated its best-selling Eee PC 1000HA with an all-new chiclet-style keyboard that improves overall comfort and allows touch-typists to type at full-speed on its 92% keyboard. The chiclet keyboard design improves comfort by separating the keys from one another instead of using an edge-to-edge design that is common on today?s mini notebook and notebook keyboards. The keyboard is also found on the Eee PC 1000HE.

In addition to its new keyboard, the Eee PC 1000HA has an extended battery life up to 7 hours, thanks to three main ingredients: ASUS? Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), an Intel Atom processor, and an LED-backlit display.

In addition to its 160GB of internal storage, the Eee PC 1000HA also includes 10GB of Eee online storage, which is accessible to anyone with an Internet connection so the most important files are available any time, any where. Users can also use it to share files, letting friends and family download files from the Eee online account quickly and easily.

The Eee PC 1000HA is available immediately from Asus' retailers and E-tailers for an introductory MSRP of $349 USD.
