Foxit Upgrades Foxit Reader to Version 4.0

Foxit Upgrades Foxit Reader to Version 4.0

Enterprise & IT Jun 30,2010 0

Now enabling users to populate, submit and save PDF forms, and annotate PDF files at no cost, Foxit today announced the release of Foxit Reader 4.0, the newest version of its PDF viewer for Microsoft Windows. The Foxit Reader 4.0 is a free alternative to other Windows software applications, now including document collaboration, commenting tools, spell checking, multi-level security and multimedia support.

In the past, premium PDF features such as these have been associated with a premium price tag. Today, Foxit is offering its PDF technology platform, complete with premium features that go beyond the basic reading of PDF documents, as an upgrade at no cost. Built on Foxit’s PDF technology platform, Foxit Reader 4.0 has an easy-to-use navigation system that promises users rapid downloading of PDF documents, viewing and printing options, a tiny desktop footprint, single or multiple document interface modes and rapid response security releases.

The Foxit Reader 4.0 is customizable to meet the basic and advanced requirements of the government and enterprise market. Its small footprint makes it easy to deploy and update, and its security and forms features make it a safe and budget friendly choice in any working environment. The Reader adheres to ISO standards and can view any PDF document. Finally, Foxit Reader is a cost saving tool, eliminating the need to purchase separate tools for drawing, marking-up, annotating, filling forms and adding multimedia.
