HP Unveils New Chrome Enterprise Portfolio

HP Unveils New Chrome Enterprise Portfolio

Enterprise & IT Oct 10,2019 0

HP announced a new portfolio of Chrome Enterprise products and services.

HP’s new portfolio includes the HP Chromebook Enterprise x360 14E G1, designed for cloud natives, and the HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 and HP Chromebook Enterprise 14A G5, designed for frontline workers. Also, HP Device as a Service (DaaS) is further expanding its multi-OS support to include Chrome Enterprise devices.

Featuring an aluminum design, the HP Chromebook Enterprise x360 14E G1 is a 14” diagonal Chromebook convertible that features Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, runs up to 13 hours and includes the security, flexible access, and simplified orchestration of Chrome Enterprise Four flexible modes, B&O audio experience, narrow-bezel touchscreen display, USB-C docking, and dual speakers.

The HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 is a compact Chromebox for frontline workers, call centers, shared workspaces, and public business centers, and can also be configured to power kiosks and digital signage. Power through tasks with 7th or 8th gen Intel processors and up to 16 GB memory and experience vibrant visuals with support for up to two 4K displays.

The HP Chromebook Enterprise 14A G5 is a 14” diagonal Chromebook designed for frontline workers, powered by AMD A4 and A6 processors, HP Fast Charge Technology, and universal USB-C compatibility.

IT Assets and Resources Optimized with HP Device as a Service

HP DaaS now supports Chrome Enterprise devices. This is a complete solution that combines multi-OS hardware, analytics from HP TechPulse, and lifecycle services that allow users to optimize their IT assets and resources.

IT admins can gain insights on their HP Chrome Enterprise devices including security compliance, hardware health, SMART battery status, and warranty status as well as viewing the inventory, OS version, and manufacturing date along with the other devices in their environment – regardless of operating system or manufacturer.

HP's Customers may choose the plan that best fits their business and offload a little or a lot of the day to day oversight of devices and apps to HP or its partners.

HP Service Experts or authorized HP partners can manage the device environment comprised of existing devices and introduce the addition of HP Chrome Enterprise devices into your multi-OS environment without requiring customers to adopt a new management platform.

Availability

The HP Chromebook Enterprise x360 14E G1 and HP Chromebook Enterprise 14A G5 are planned to be available for purchase in late October. The HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 is planned to be available for purchase in November. All three devices are planned to be available through HP DaaS in November.
