iiyama Unveils a Range of Eco-Conscious Desktop Monitors for a Sustainable Tomorrow

iiyama Unveils a Range of Eco-Conscious Desktop Monitors for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Consumer Electronics Feb 9,2024 0

iiyama proudly introduces the 63 Series range of desktops with B energy class label seamlessly blending eco-friendliness, eye health and high performance allowing customers to make a truly Green Choice.

February 2024 – The 24’’ models XU2463HSU-B1, XUB2463HSU-B1 and 27’’ XU2763HSU-B1 and XUB2763HSU-B1 featuring IPS panel technology, not only lead in performance but also champion environmental responsibility.

This range of desktops proudly holds the TCO Certified and EPEAT® Silver certifications, the world’s most trusted ecolabels for electronics showcasing the Japanese company’s constant commitment to meeting high industry standards for sustainability.

With these monitors, the product packing is not only 100% recyclable but more importantly contains ZERO plastic elements. The monitor housing itself is crafted from 85% post-consumer recycled materials, and the sleek bezel design of the monitors both conserves materials and makes these screens ideal for dual monitor setups.

Thanks to its Green Compliance, the 63 Series range of desktops by iiyama stands as the flagship choice for the environmentally aware consumer. In harmony with EU regulations, this product adheres to The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1). Notably, it is 100% mercury-free, going beyond the directive's regulations to create a safer and cleaner product.

Featuring the B energy class rating, these monitors effectively save electricity without compromising on performance - the power-efficient feature using the most efficient LED backlight technology in combination with a high-efficiency colour filter maintains brightness and vivid colours so the picture performance stays unaffected.

Designed keeping the user’s eye health in mind, the 63 desktop series by iiyama adheres to both the Eye Safe and Eye Comfort Certifications. Based on research by optometrists and ophthalmologists worldwide, the Eye Safe Certification ensures constant blue light protection without sacrificing colour performance while the Eye Comfort Certification, guarantees reduced blue light and flicker-free operation for eye and vision protection.

Further keeping the user’s comfort in mind, two of the models (XUB2463HSU-B1 and XUB2763HSU-B1) feature a 15 cm height-adjustable stand, providing optimal user comfort. The 63 Series also offers a wide range of connectivity options, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and an integrated USB hub, facilitating the connection of multiple USB devices such as a headset.
