Today we will run some benchmarks with the new Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile USB 3.0 flash drive. The small device allows you to transfer and share photos, music, videos, and files between your On-The-Go (OTG)-enabled Android tablet, smartphone, or computer, without cables or Wi-Fi.

The small drive leverages USB 3.0 performance with up to 120MB/s read transfer and and 55MB/s write speeds. Of course, it remains backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

The drive is available in capacities of 16GB (up to 120MB/s read and 20MB/s write), 32GB (up to 120MB/s read and 55MB/s write) and 64GB (up to 120MB/s read and 55MB/s write).

You can also download a file management app like ASTRO File Manager from the Google Play store to easily manage files from the cloud and mobile devices.

Specifications

  • Available capacities
    • 16GB (LJDM20-16GBSBNA), 120MB/s read 20MB/s write
    • 32GB (LJDM20-32GBSBNA), 120MB/s read 55MB/s write
    • 64GB (LJDM20-64GBSBNA), 120MB/s read 55MB/s write
  • Connectivity: micro-USB and USB 3.0 (USB 2.0-compatible)
  • Compatibility: Windows and Mac
  • Warranty: 3 years

Let's have a closer look to the device. The Lexar JumpDrive M20 Mobile 32GB USB3.0 retails in the package you see below and will cost approximately $27at Amazon..

The basic feature of the M20 flash drive design is the thumb slider. There is no need for a cap - which could easily be lost - and the blue, a bit delicate slider should be used to retract or detract the USB 3.0 connector on one end and the micro-USB connector on the other.
