LG Electronics to Release New G Pad II Tablet, New Smartphones
LG Electronics said Wednesday it plans to roll out the G Pad II tablet PC this week, and also follow up with the release of a series of new smartphones in early October. The 10.1-inch G Pad II will come with a 7,400 mAh battery and 2GB of RAM. It holds a data storage capacity of 32GB, but also accepts a mirco SD card.

The South Korean company will also unveil a series of new smartphones in early October.
An invitation LG sent to the press includes a picture of a slate interposed over an image of a movie camera, suggesting that the new phone will have a top-end camera. Industry rumors say the phone could feature two rear cameras.
The company is also poised to unveil a new Nexus smartphone produced in conjunction with Google.
