LG Electronics on Friday said it will hold an online launch event for its upcoming flagship Velvet smartphone on May 7.

The South Korean company released a video invitation on YouTube, which included the event date, time and a link.

LG has already announced the Velvet, having unveiled specific features ahead of time as it tends to do with all of its phones. We know this one has a “raindrop” triple-camera setup, a symmetrical curved-glass design, a Snapdragon 765 processor with built-in 5G, and a headphone jack.

The 15-second clip highlighted the water drop design of the flagship model. It shows water droplets in white, gray, green and red, to represent the product colors slated for the Velvet phone.

The phone launch event will be held in the form of a fashion show, LG said.

The event will start at 10 a.m. on May 7 and can be accessible on YouTube and Facebook.
