Mitsubishi Showacses Its First 4K TV At CEATEC
Mitsubishi Electric is showcasing its first 4K TV at CEATEC 2014, the REAL LS1.
Available now in Japan in 65-inch (LCD-65LS1) and 58-inch (LCD-58LS1) models, the TVs use a red laser and cyan LED for a 4K LCD panel for the first time in
the industry. Their high-grade red, blue and green colors can maximize the
performance of 4K images.
The TV also comes with the stand-alone aluminum speakers located on each side. Both speakers at the top of the speaker sections are set upward to produce stereoscopic sounds.
The 65-inch model will retail in Japan by the end of the month for about 700,000 yen ($6406.74) and the 58-inch version will cost around $1,800 less.
