MWC: ZTE Introduces Blade V7, Blade V7 Lite, And Spro Plus Smart Projector
ZTE today launched the latest iterations in its Blade series, the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite, along with the Spro Plus portable smart projector, at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. The Blade V7 has a full-metal body that is only 3.5mm thick at its thinnest edge. It is sporting a 5.2-inch screen, a 78.2-percent screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved edge glass.
Blade V7 packs octa-core chipsets, 4G LTE plus, 2GB of RAM, front and rear PDAF 13-megapixel cameras, and expanded Smart Sense intelligent gesture control features.
It will be available in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Mexico by summer of 2016. The Blade V7 will sell for around 250 euros ($277.95).
Smaller than the Blade V7 with a 5-inch display, the Blade V7 Litecomes with a circular fingerprint scanner for security, app quick-launch, and navigation. Like the Blade V7, the V7 Lite also comes equipped with a camera and Smart Sense gesture control. This version will first launch in Russia before becoming available in Mexico, Spain, Germany and Thailand by spring 2016. It will go for less than 200 euros, or even as low as 150 euros.

ZTE also today unveiled the Spro Plus portable smart projector, following the Spro 2.
Spro Plus helps business associates and friends meet anywhere at any time, with its voice conference, projection, touch-screen and visual design features. The external USB camera also allows for multi-party video communication via applications like Skype.
One of the Spro Plus’ highlights is a larger, 8.4-inch Android AMOLED touch-screen with 2K resolution, paired with a 12100mAH battery. The Spro Plus will be available in both a Wi-Fi-only version as well as a Wi-Fi and 4G LTE version.
Spro Plus' visual capabilities include its vertical and horizontal keystone correction, which is its ability to project onto any place in any direction without distorting the image. It uses laser instead of LED technology to project at 500lm. This generation of Spro comes with an improved projection ratio. Placing the Spro Plus 2.4 meters away from any surface will project an image up to 80 inches across.
When it comes to audio, the Spro Plus features a JBL Audio System, which includes two 4w speakers and a voice pickup via high HARMAN sub-miniature microphones. Its ability to detect voices more than five meters from Spro Plus makes it easy to conduct group meetings in any location.
The projector will be available globally by summer 2016.
