New ADATA XPG SD700X External SSD Packs 3D NAND, SLC Cache

PC components Mar 21,2017 0

ADATA is launching the new XPG SD700X, a waterproof and dust proof external SSD available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of 3D TLC NAND.

The USB 3.1 SSD offers 440MB/s read and write speeds and meets IEC IP68 standards for complete dust-tight protection and withstanding 60 minute immersion in 1.5m-deep water.

The SD700X features 3D TLC NAND along with a DRAM cache and SLC caching to easily outmatche even the speediest spin drive. Compared to HDDs, the SD700X is at least four times faster. Gamers can notice a minimum 20% reduction in loading times, plus smoother asset streaming in-play.
