New Sony Bravia X9000C 4K TV Is Extremely Thin
Sony has announced the new Bravia X9000C 4K television set, which will be available in Japan in 65-inch and 55-inch variants and is possibly the world's thinnest at just 4.9mm. Wall-mountable and extremely sleek in design, this LCD television set is powered by Sony's a X1 4K video processor. It also supports HDR (high dynamic range) video output through HDMI.
Their 4K LCD panel support a 120Hz double-speed drive. The TV are 3D compatible using passive 3D glasses, they are equipped four speakers capable of outputing a total of 30W (7.5W X 4ch).
You have a content-aware television set that can be used with your Android and iOS smart-devices. It is also compatible with Netflix and leverages voice search as well.
The 65-inch variant is expected to cost around 550,000 Yen ($4,600) while the 55-inch variant could set you back 350,000 Yen ($2,900).
