Nexus 5 Sightings Grow
Google's 16-GB Nexus 4 has sold out, and reports say the tech company has no plans to make any more units of their smartphone. Meanwhile, more pictures of the rumored Nexus 5 smartphone make their way onto the Internet.
Google's Nexus 4 has been popular among consumers mainly for its sleek design, low price, and no contract requirement. Last month Google also cut the price by $100.
Now both the $199 8GB and the $249 16GB versions of the marphone are out of stock and according to The Verge, Google has no plans to make more Nexus 4 devices. If it's true, it could be a sign that the Nexus 4's successor may be announced soon.
Meanwhile, pictures and videos (Youtube, FCC) of the next Google phone are hitting the Internet, showing a device dubbed D820 that some believe is the Nexus 5.
Nexus 4 was built by LG. The next Nexus may be also built by the Korean company and it is rumored to come with a larger 5-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, LTE technology as well as an improved camera. It is also likely to run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
