Retailers to Notify You When Pre-orders of Sony PlayStation 5 Go Live

Retailers to Notify You When Pre-orders of Sony PlayStation 5 Go Live

Enterprise & IT Dec 4,2019 0

Although we still know almost nothing about the upcoming Playstation 5, Walmart has already set up a page where you can subscribe to receive information about the pre-orders of the new gaming console.

2020 is going to be marked by a lot of talk about PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. Both Sony and Microsoft have been committed to a steady drip feed of information regarding their next-gen consoles for a while now, starting with rumors earlier this year and some new details metered out at press conferences and in interviews.

Pre-orders of the PS5 are still a long ways off, but multiple worldwide retailers including Walmart are launching landing pages for the PlayStation 5 that allow you to sign up for notifications about when pre-orders go live.

Sony and Microsoft are both branching out into hyping changes related to their new consoles. The biggest of these is the addition of an SSD to lower loading times, something that both companies leaned heavily on in their initial announcements. Where graphics are concerned, there has been talking about ray-tracing and more detailed environments.
