Rumored Honor 9X Specifications: 24MP Popup Selfie Camera, Side Fingerprint Sensor
The successor to the last year’s Honor 8X is set to launch on July 23 in China.
The Honor 9X will be powered by the latest Octa-Core Hisilicon Kirin 810 chipset, which is made using the 7nm process technology. The smartphone's 3C certification has also revealed that the mobile will feature a 10W charger. New information on Weibo is unsveiling the alleged full specification sheet of the Honor 9X.
According to the leak, the Honor 9X will be equipped with the 7nm Kirin 810 SoC (4xCortex-A73 2.2GHz + 4XCortex-A54 1.7GHz)and will be available at least in a 6GB + 128GB variant. The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Honor 9X runs EMUI 9.1-based Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The Hono 9X is also rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup that contains 24MP (primary camera with f / 1.8 ) + 8MP (super wide angle lens) + 2MP tertiary lens. In the front, there is a 24MP popup selfie camera having an f/ 2.0 aperture size. Optical image stabilization (OIS) seems to be missing from both cameras. The camera modes include AI beauty, portrait mode, fun AR, HDR, watermark, continuous shooting, smile shot, voice-activated photo, time-lapse photography, night scene mode, etc.
The smartphone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for a 10W charger. The standby time is about 672 hours or about 28.0 days.
The device will sport a 6.59-inch Full HD+ TFT LCD (IPS) display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080p and 396ppi. Connectivity features incldue USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Honor 9X will be unveiled on July 23 in China along with its Pro variant.
