Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Released
Samsung and AT&T are bringing the Galaxy S6 Active to the U.S. market. The 'Active' concept is familiar from the release of the Galax y S4 Active in the past - the new variant of the Galaxy S6 is armed with greater durability and ruggedness.
Besides the obvious external changes, the Galaxy S6 Active is not different than a normal S6. Here ar ethe basic specs:

The new smartphone has the same 5.1" 2560x1440 AMOLED display, the same Exynos 7420 SoC, cameras, and the same connectivity. However, it is a bit bigger in size, and it is powered by a larger 13.48Wh battery.
The exterior has changed: there is no glass back found on the fancy Galaxy S6, and the entire device is surrounded by an additional frame. The single home button and capacitive keys have been replaced by three hardware buttons as well.
The chassis has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, which guarantees protection when submerged in water as deep as 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. The Galaxy S6 Active also meets the Mil-STD-810G standard for resistance to pressure, temperature, humidity, shocks and vibrations.
AT&T's customers will be able to purchase the new device on June 12. On AT&T Next the Galaxy S6 Active will cost $0 up front, with a $695 cost split into monthly payments -- $23.17 with 30 device payments on NextSM 243, $28.96 per month at 24 payments on Next 18, or $34.75 per month at 20 payments on Next 12.
