Shuttle Announces the latest DH470 1.3-litre Mini-PC

Shuttle Announces the latest DH470 1.3-litre Mini-PC

Enterprise & IT Dec 9,2020 0

Mini format with maximum power: with the XPC Barebone DH470 from the extensive XPC slim family, Shuttle presents a new powerful and versatile Mini-PC for the latest Intel "Comet Lake-S” processors with up to 10 cores and 20 threads.

- HDMI 2.0 and 2× DisplayPort for three Ultra HD displays
- Dual Gigabit, 4× USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two COM ports
- Suitable for constant operation (24/7) at an ambient temperature of up to 50°C

Based on Intel's H470 chipset, the XPC Barebone DH470 supports the Intel Core processors of the "Comet Lake-S” generation up to a TDP of 65 Watt. This means that even such powerful versions as the Intel Core i9 models with 10 cores and 20 threads are possible. Reflecting this, both SO-DIMM slots permit the installation of two 32 GB DDR4 memory modules.

The robust steel chassis, which measures just 19 × 16.5 × 4.3 cm (LWH), provides space for a 2.5-inch drive (HDD/SSD) and an NVMe SSD in the M.2-2280 format. Another M.2-2230 slot can be fitted with a WLAN module, for example. Instead of the mentioned 2.5-inch drive, a 4G modem to establish the connection with a mobile network can also be integrated, thanks to the appropriate accessory.

"The DH470 offers high performance in a compact format and, with its wide range of connection and installation options, it provides particular flexibility,” explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "The impressive combination of Core i9, 64 GB of RAM and two SSD drives makes it ideal for professional applications such as content creation, digital signage, server facilities and industry."

Three digital video outputs are available with HDMI 2.0 and 2× DisplayPort and all support monitors with a resolution of 4K and 60 Hz. In addition, an optional analogue VGA output is possible if one of the COM ports is dispensed with.

Wired network transfer happens via two Intel Gigabit Ethernet connections on the back. Other features are 4× USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit), 4× USB 3.2 Gen 1 (1× Type-C, 5 Gbit), 2× COM port and a remote power-on connection for starting the device remotely. An SD card reader is located on the front so that it is easily accessible and completes the connectivity on offer.

The VESA mount which is included can be used to attach the DH470 in any positions on surfaces or behind a monitor. Thanks to the optional 19" rack mount for two 1.3-litre devices, rack installation over two height units is possible. To allow use in switch cabinets and distribution boxes, Shuttle offers a bracket for the DIN-Rail.

In summary, a stand for vertical operation (PS02), a connecting cable for the remote power-on connection (CXP01), a WLAN/Bluetooth module (WLN-M), a VGA connecting cable (PVG01), a 19" rack mount (PRM01), a DIN-Rail mounting kit (DIR01) and an LTE kit (WWN03) are available as optional accessories.

The recommended retail price from Shuttle for the DH470 is EUR 260.00 (ex VAT). This model is available from specialist retailers Europe-wide upon publication of this press release.
