The Gold version of Skype 3.0 for Windows Phones is now available for download. The Skype for Windows Mobile supports file transfer, allowing you can send and receive documents on the move. Skype-to-Skype file transfers are secure and private, so you can send sensitive documents in the knowledge that they’re safe from prying eyes, even across unsecured WiFi networks.

The new Skype also allows you to Send texts (SMS), offering a great way to avoid roaming charges abroad if you text on Skype from a WiFi zone.
