Sprint will reportedly take over half of the stores owned by troubled electronics retailer RadioShack, Bloomberg reported.
Sprint's move is part of a bankruptcy auction for RadioShack's stores, meaning that more bidders may emerge. The rest of the stores would close down, Bloomberg said.
RadioShack declined to comment on the Bloomberg report.
Sprint declined to comment.
RadioShack warned last September it faced bankruptcy if talks with lenders and stakeholders about a sale or a restructuring failed.
