Since the original Crysis was ahead of its time, the hardware requirements to play it were way beyond most gamer's equipment. However, the minimum requirements for the upcoming Crysis 2 game seems to be more hardware friendly. Crysis 2 is shipping on March 22, 2011. Here are the minimum specs to run Crysis 2, as they were posted on Facebook:

* Internet connection for activation and online gameplay
* OS: XP / Vista / Windows 7
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
* 2GB RAM
* Hard Drive: 9GB
* DVD-ROM: 8X
* GPU: Nvidia 8800GT 512MB RAM, ATI HD 3850 512MB RAM or better
* Audio: DirectX 9.0c-compatible
* Keyboard, Mouse, or the Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

Good news for gamers. If the above specs is correct, everyone with a modern or even semi-modern rig should be able to run the popular game.
