BlackBerry 10 And Samsung Smartphones Approved for Use On U.S. Department of Defense Networks
The Pentagon on Thursday cleared BlackBerry and Samsung mobile devices for use on Defense Department networks.
The U.S. Department of Defense has cleared BlackBerry 10 phones as well as Samsung's smartphones that support the company's Android Knox for use on DoD networks.
The Pentagon is also expected to clear Apple mobile devices using the iOS 6 system at some point in early May.

"This approval will enable DoD customers to connect their BlackBerry Z10 or BlackBerry Q10 smartphones to DoD networks and securely access assets from work, while enjoying the wealth of consumer-oriented functionality that BlackBerry 10 brings to market."
