AT&T Adds the Nokia Lumia 925

AT&T Adds the Nokia Lumia 925

Smartphones Aug 27,2013 0

The Lumia 925, Nokia?s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone sculpted from both polycarbonate plastic and aluminum, is coming to AT&T's 4G LTE network on Sept. 13. The phone will cost $99.99 with a standard two-year contract. You can pre-order one starting Aug. 28 on AT&T's website. The phone has a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA touchscreen with curved Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 16 GB of internal memory, and a 2000 mAh battery. Still, the Lumia 925's best feature may just be the 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash.

Nokia is also creating some photo apps to take advantage of its camera designs. The Lumia 925, for example, comes with Nokia Pro Camera, which was first introduced on the Lumia 1020 and makes it possible to manually adjust flash, focus, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and exposure.

You also get Nokia Smart Camera, which captures ten 5-megapixel shots in a short burst and then lets you tweak them using one-touch editing options like Best Shot, Action Shot, Change Faces, and Motion Focus.
