MSI Highlights First Gaming Notebooks With Eye-tracking Capabilities at COMPUTEX 2015

MSI Highlights First Gaming Notebooks With Eye-tracking Capabilities at COMPUTEX 2015

PC components Jun 2,2015 0

Tobii and MSI are partnering to accelerate the development of eye-tracking enabled gaming products, a significant milestone in the adoption of consumer eye-tracking. Eye-tracking is poised to alter the gaming landscape over the next several years, ushering in a new era of deeper game immersion and realistim. Tobii has identified four key applications, or immersions, in games that will change the way gamers interact and enjoy their games: Infinite Screen (as seen in Assassin’s Creed Rogue), Multidimensional Movement, Response to Eye-Contact and Immersive Graphics and Sound.

At Computex MSI had on display its GAMING series laptops fueled by the upcoming 5th generation Intel Core i7 processors, Tobii Eye-Tracking Technology, Killer Wireless-AC 1535 with new Extreme Range Technology, Nahimic Sound Technology, and NVIDIA G-SYNC, SLI extreme graphics.

With Tobii 's technology, the GT72 will offer deeper game immersion and most realistic experience available. MSI GT72 also incorporates GTX980M 8GB GDDR5 graphics with G-SYNC feature. G-SYNC’s performance is achieved by synchronizing display refresh rates to the GPU in the GeForce GTX-powered system. The results are instantly appearing scenes, sharper looking objects and super smooth gameplay.

MSI GT80 Titan features the latest Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M graphics and is the first gaming laptop to integrate a mechanical keyboard. Joint engineering and software development between MSI and SteelSeries promise ultimate comfort for long gaming sessions while switches from mechanical switch specialist Cherry guarantee long-time reliability.

With new Extreme Range Technology on Killer Wireless-AC 1535, GT80 users are now free to enjoy wireless Internet connectivity at higher speeds and at greater distances from their access points. The GT80 is also the best SLI platform to support smooth surround view with a maximum resolution of 5760×1080.
