FireEye on Tuesday issued a patch for a security flaw which affects its NX, EX, FX and AX Series appliances. The flaw had been previously discovered by Google researchers. The "666†" vulnerability, discovered by Google's team, could be exploited via the passive monitoring interface. A successful attack could be triggered merely by sending someone an email or getting the person to click a link, according to Google security researchers.

FireEye have issued a patch for this vulnerability, which was within a module that analyzes Java archive (JAR) files,the company said.
