BlackBerry To Launch New 'Mercury' Phone At MWC
Blackberry and TCL plan to unveil the 'Mercury' smartphone on 25th February, two days before Mobile World Congress 2017.
BlackBerry has licensed its name to Chinese manufacturer TCL who will design, manufacture, sell, and support all future BlackBerry-branded mobile devices.
BlackBerry were showing off a prototype device at CES 2017 called the 'Mercury'. TThe device had a physical QWERTY keyboard and was powered by Android. Rumors suggest the mid-range device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB of RAM. The rear camera is likely to be an 18-megapixel shooter with an 8-megapixel front camera.
