The first PCI-Express4.0 (x4) compliant NVMe M.2 SSD "IronWolf 525" from Seagate's NAS storage "IronWolf" series is now available. The IronWolf 525 is part of Seagate's NAS storage "IronWolf" series.

A total of three versions are available in the M.2 2280 form factor with capacities ranging from 500GB to 1TB and 2TB, for a total of three models.

NAND flash is a 3D TLC memory that can transmit data at high speeds, with sequential read speeds of up to 5,000MB / sec and write speeds of up to 4,400MB / sec, random read speeds of up to 760,000 IOPS and write speeds of up to 700,000 IOPS. Aside from that, the total write amount reaches 700TBW for the 500GB model, 1,400TBW for the 1TB model, and 2,800TBW for the 2TB model, making it suited for use in high-load NAS environments where access is highly concentrated.

The main body measures 22.15 mm in width, 80.15 mm in depth, and 3.58 mm in thickness, and it weighs between 8.0 and 8.7 g. The mean time between failures (MTBF) is 1.8 million hours, and the product guarantee is 5 years.
