Sumitomo Electric Exhibits at InfoComm 2023

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will exhibit at InfoComm 2023, the premier audiovisual exhibition in North America. The event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA. from June 14 to 16, 2023. InfoComm 2023 will feature audiovisual products, including audio, displays, digital signage and virtual reality. In 2022, more than 500 companies from 110 countries exhibited at the event, attracting approximately 20,000 visitors. Sumitomo Electric will exhibit the Thunderbolt™4 cables, which support the latest standard Thunderbolt™4 for high-speed transmission and enable high-capacity communication. These products are compatible with USB4, Thunderbolt™3 and DP2.1 standards, enabling data communication and power supply between the connected devices at the same time.

・By simply connecting the cable to a mobile computer, you can conveniently charge and establish connections to Thunderbolt™ devices such as hard disk drives and displays.
・The cable supports both daisy-chain connections and star connections using a hub with up to four Thunderbolt™4 ports, allowing for flexible device configurations.
・Equipped with a USB Type-C connector, this product is compact and can be connected without minding its orientation.
・Sumitomo Electric's micro flex coaxial cables exhibit excellent flexibility and exceptional resistance to bending.
