Apacer Offers FIPS 140-2 Validated SSDs and High Capacities SSDs up to 16TB On Display at WEST 2024
Modern military-grade naval applications demand only the best, most rugged and most reliable digital memory devices available. And the place to see those products is WEST 2024. Apacer will be attending this prestigious trade show with a booth from February 13-15, 2024, at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
WEST 2024 is sure to be packed to the brim with suppliers of military-grade naval hardware and technology, as well as many representatives and buyers from the US Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps. Apacer has a few particularly appropriate products for these applications, including FIPS 140-2 validated SSD. FIPS 140-2 is the standard all manufacturers must comply with in order to do business with US government federal agencies that adopt cryptographic technology. Just being compliant is not enough – to be validated, a company must have their product scrutinized by a NIST lab and issued a CMVP certificate, as Apacer has done.
Also on display will be some of the rugged computing hardware developed by Apacer. The rugged SODIMM, for example, are fitted with mounting holes to keep them precisely in place even during violent shaking or vibration. And the next closest contender is Apacer’s XR-DIMM. It also features mounting holes as well as two anti-shock certifications.
And thanks to breakthroughs in the research lab, Apacer’s engineers have developed an alloy that can take the place of lead in a DRAM module. Apacer’s fully lead-free DDR5 DRAM modules negate the need for product redesigns if the standards change. So there’s no need to worry about the latest EU lead-free compliance standard.
When WEST 2024 begins in San Diego this February, our friendly, capable representatives will be waiting at Booth no. 932.
