Although modern processors are following a trend of faster and cooler operation, many notebook computers can still get very warm under normal operating conditions. Throw in a frag session and it may be more than your online opponent that goes up in flames, mainly due to the heat generated by today's higher-end video cards. Excess heat can damage your components and lead to premature failure. Thankfully, companies like Antec have produced various models of cooling pads to help mitigate overheating and keep your notebook in its happy temperature zone all for around $25.00...

There have been a lot of different external hard drive enclosures made recently and many brands have already marketed several enclosures by this point in time. Well, many have, but not Antec. This is their first design and it looks like Antec is upping the ante by on the first go-around with their Antec Veris MX-1 Actively Cooled Hard Drive Enclosure.

We have been quite fortunate to review numerous Antec cases and power supplies in the past, so we were very excited when the TruePower Quattro 1000-watt power supply arrived at our door for testing. After we ran it through our normal battery of tests, we were impressed by its ability to maintain near perfect voltage regulation even during the grueling stress tests. To see just how well the Antec TruePower Quattro performed you will need to read the review.

There are names in the computer industry I just trust. Antec is among them. Year after year, Antec continues to provide quality products for nearly every budget sector of the computer enthusiast market. Normally, I eagerly grab them up as they come out. Today the Nine Hundred Case and the Antec Trio 650w Power Supply are visiting our testing lab. These two items are usually sold separately but for our review, we are going to combine the two since they should offer a perfect fit for today's enthusiast computer market. Why you ask? Well with today's high speed, power sucking, personal computers; a case that claims to be able to harness the hottest of systems and a 650w Power Supply with triple 12 volt rails each boasting the ability to offer up 19 amps of stable power; together should provide an excellent overall solution.

Today I will be reviewing the Antec Fusion Black 430 Media Center case. Unlike many other Media Center PC's that resemble a complete PC system sitting next to your home theatre setup, the Antec Fusion possesses clean lines, sleek appearance and a design that will neither overstate or understate it's presence beside your expensive home theater equipment. Let's dig in and find out just how well the Antec Fusion Black 430 Media Center case is put together.

Overall, the Fusion is a good choice for a HTPC chassis. The front bezel has a very classy, A/V receiver look that will blend seamlessly amongst other home theater equipment. Having the ability to adjust fan speed is a nice feature since at the lowest setting they are practically silent while still moving enough air to keep the hardware cool. Plenty of vibration dampening features is present on both the inside and outside of the case to additionally keep noise to a minimum, and it all works very well.

The MkIII version of Antec's highly-popular Sonata series PC case is now on sale. But has the company continued to improve the chassis or is the third incarnation just more of the same?

The Antec Quattro 850W is a high end bargain power supply, if the term even exists, truly a testament of the meaning of value. For the price of a low end power supply, the Quattro 850W is up to par with power supplies priced in a much higher price bracket, matching them in performance and features.

Antec makes some of the best PC cases and power supplies available today. As far as cases go their Performance One series has been at hit. We have seen the P150, P160, P180, and P182 cases. Now it's time for the "Big Boy" the P190. The P190 combines 2 Antec power supplies with the P190 chassis giving you an all-in-one powerful system. This is the first time we have seen a dual-power supply design so it will be interesting to see how it works. Let's see what the P190 has in store for us!
