The ATP PhotoFinder Mini is a synched GPS tracking device that essentially Geotags your photos, adding the coordinates of the location to the image?s EXIF-data, which can then be interpreted and used in an application such as Google Earth, for example. This could also be very useful for visual inventory and mapping jobs, people who work for park services, survey and mapping, GIS analysis, and other resource-based industries, not just the home user who forgets where their photos were taken.

One thing we haven't seen until now is a flash drive that is targeted specifically to the environmentally-conscious consumer, a product that seeks to mitigate some of the impacts on the world around us. Promising environmentally-sensitive manufacturing that does not come at the expense of performance, the ATP EarthDrive certainly piqued our curiousity.

Often, when a product is marketed for a certain special feature, it suffers in other aspects. The ATP EarthDrive is not one of those products. In addition to being the world's first recyclable USB drive, it also performs well. With read speeds just shy of 30 MB/s and write speeds of 10 MB/s, the EarthDrive is similar to other USB drives we've reviewed in the past. Its small size also makes it easy to work with. Also, it's waterproof!

ATP Electronics is a 17 year-old company best known for their EarthDrive recyclable USB flash drive, which is not only made of recycled materials but also has part of the proceeds go towards rainforest protection. They also make memory products for both enterprise and home applications in addition to various types of removable storage. Today, ASE Labs has the ATP ToughDrive 4GB Camo edition.

If you happen to have a device that needs a CompactFlash card, there is no reason not to look at the ATP Electronics ProMax II line. Transferring large amounts of data is best done at high speed, and a UDMA capable card provides the best transfer rates you are going to get at this time. If you do get a ProMax II CompactFlash card, be sure to pick up the ATP Electronics ProMax UDMA card reader.

Seeing the results above the ToughDrive mini and Petito look like the little engines, or better yet, flash drives that could. Not only did they manage to beat their more famous and very speedy rival the Flash Voyager GT in almost every test, but they did it without breaking a sweat.

ATP is one such provider of flash drive memory. They offer high density and high capacity flash media memory products which includes computer memory modules. They were kind enough to send us two of their newest solutions, the Petito 2GB and Tough Drive Mini 2GB Flash Drives. These are USB 2.0 compatible, Water Proof, offer durable Dependable Storage, built in Security Protection, and are Windows Ready Boost capable for Vista users.

The ATP Petito is small, light, and fast, making the Petito one of the best in the market. It surprised me that ATP produced a drive that is able to deliver faster speeds than the competition as well as keep size down to a minimum. This certainly shoots down the phrase "size matters" because the Petito really sets another standard for the performance versus size ratio.

ATP Electronics sent over a pair of 2GB USB flash drives for BigBruin.com to take a look at... the ToughDrive Mini and the Petito. Both drives boast similar speed specifications, Windows Vista ReadyBoost compatibility, and are available in capacities ranging from 512MB to 4GB. Where they differ is in style, as the ToughDrive Mini is a black ruggedized unit and the Petito is a dainty little pink thing with a sparkly finish.

There's no denying the fact that ATP Inc's ToughDrive mini is at the top of its class. Packaged in a small rubber casing, the look was simple but the performance packed a heavy punch. As the name implies, if you need a durable drive and want to tough it out through sand, snow and abuse, this drive won't let any of that get in its way. This tiny monster has certainly surpassed my expectations.

ATP's new Tough Drive Mini 2 GB is a USB stick which offers high speed performance and support for Windows Vista Ready Boost. As the name suggests the drive is rugged and waterproof. To verify the manufacturer's claims we tried to break it - with a hammer!

ATP SD Trio Professional Plus 1 GB Flash Memory Review That's the fundamental advantage to the ATP SD Trio over its competitors: it really is three cards in one. Typically, when you purchase a microSD card from a major manufacturer, it will come with an adapter that brings it up to the standard SD card size. The same can be said about most miniSD cards, but no other manufacturer - to my knowledge - has decided to toss all three sizes in one package.

Looking for a new flash drive? How about one used by the military? Well, ATP have created the ToughDrive Mini which packs a whole lot into a small size; waterproof, temperature proof, 30mb/s transfer speed and ReadyBoost enabled. Hopefully the transfer speed will live up to the advertised rate, as this could be one of the fastest drives we've tested.
