The Corsair Twin2X1024-8000UL is no doubt the fastest DDR2 memory we have ever tested! Unfortunately we were not able to quite reach the 1000 MHz rating, but I think that is due to the test system and not the memory...

Overall, this kit was a wonderful addition to my box. I am very pleased with the results that I am getting. The Corsair COOL system retails for around $190 at the time of this writing. There are some less expensive kits out there that I found, but many of them were only kits that cooled the CPU. You can also piece together your own kit, but Corsair has made it easier to jump into the water cooling scene by including everything that you need in the box!

We've been looking at hardware for quite some time now and its always been the memory modules that have been playing catch up with the frequencies that motherboard manufacturers offer in the BIOS. However, today Corsair throws our observation out the door by sending us modules that work at a speed for which we couldn't find motherboards to match up to. We're talking about Corsair's latest 8000UL modules that run at frequency of DDR2-1000.

DDR2 memory has certainly scaled plenty in the recent few months, but Corsair churning out ultra low latency DDR2-1000 modules so soon was a little earlier than expected by many. After all, some of the memory vendors are barely gearing up to churn out standard DDR2-1000 memory modules, but Corsair seems to enjoy snatching the performance speed crown every time someone manages to come close. With the Corsair TWIN2X1024-8000UL matched pair of memory modules, you get two 512MB sticks that are rated for DDDR2-1000 memory frequency and have the lowest latencies ever for that class of memory at 5-4-4-9.

Low latency DDR2 memory has been something enthusiasts, gamers, and overclockers have been waiting for since DDR2 first came out without luck. Luckily enthusiast memory giant Corsair stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with their PC-5400UL memory modules. These modules turned out to be dual purpose in our opinion as they can run tight timings (CL3) up to around 750MHz and then run all the way up to a 1GHz at CL5. For the first time ever we are seeing numerous test samples hit over 1GHz and do it with stability! If you are looking to plug some modules in and run tight timings these will work perfectly.

The Corsair memory modules tested here today presented a great deal of value compared to SimpleTech's offering we most recently looked at. What's more is that the Corsair memory features extras that users might expect when spending more than $200 for memory; heatspreaders, lower latencies, higher stock frequency, and Corsair's unique activity LEDs. I can say that I'd recommend this memory to people looking for fast, stable, and high performing memory. Most users, with current chipsets won't find this memory or any other DDR2 we've looked at so far to limit their system overclocks.

The COOL brings Corsair's watercooling products to a new market space and although the COOL isn't as easy to install as the previous products, it is much better than several other solutions I have seen. It really needs a good printed manual and some clearer instructions, but apart from these fairly minor issues it's a great watercooler kit. I would recommend anyone considering a watercooler kit to buy a bottle of Fluid XP+ - it might not provide cooling as efficient as water, but at least you don't have to worry about your PC dying because of a leak.

Corsair has created something truly unique with the XMS Xpert memory modules, which for once doesn't have anything to do with memory performance. The XMS Xpert is the first true gadget memory to hit the market and with decent performance to match it's hard to knock it.

From an enthusiast stand point, the Corsair Cool Water Cooling kit shows extremely well and has enough options to install to their liking. From an average daily user it may mean quieter operations, either way Corsair has put together a top notch kit with the use of quality components. Giving the price is under $200 and it is somewhat easy to install I would have to say that this step forward is a good one for Corsair.

Corsair's COOL offers excellent water cooling performance, virtually noiseless operation, reliability, and outstanding value. I must commend the memory maker on their selection of water cooling components which come together to create a cohesive H20 system. This product is another recent release from Corsair such as their XPERT series memory exemplifying their desire to meet the need's of the budding overclocker as well as anyone wanting to improve the performance of their PC.

When every thumbdrive is made of plastic, Corsair wraps their Flash Voyager, including the cap, with rubber. This makes the USB flash drive a true water-resistant portable storage. What's more? The 512MB drive tops at 19MB/s read, 13MB/s write, and comes with ten-year warranty. While the drive hides the partition with password, there doesn't seem to have AES encryption.

I was impressed with both the performance and noise level of the system. The pump, as well as the Panaflo fan, both show why they are the cream of the crop in their respective fields, as they exhibited incredible performance at near silent noise levels. I do wish that Corsair had included some sort of fan controller for the 120mm Panaflo fan, as I think a slightly slower speed would show minimal performance drop while making the system run even quieter.

May it be a novelty for some I feel it is a great addition to any system. Once again Corsair continues to bring to the table; Tomorrow's Memory Today! The Corsair XPERT Series Memory Modules with Programmable Display receives the Tech-Mods.net Gold Award.

Talk about innovation. Well, these Corsair XPERT Modules certainly has a lot of them. Corsair has engineered and designed what is definitely the most intelligent, innovative and functional memory module to date. Did I say the most beautiful and coolest memory module I have seen as well? There is no other manufacturer more dedicated, innovative and experienced than Corsair in the production of enthusiast memory. They have proven this with their PRO series and now with their XPERT series.

The Corsair XMS4400 TwinX modules are really targeted at serious overclockers who do not care how their systems look. All they want is performance, and that's what these modules deliver. These are the fastest modules that Corsair offers, although other manufacturers like G.Skill are already selling DDR600 modules. However, before you start Googling for the G.Skill DDR600 modules, please remember that you are very unlikely to hit DDR600 without specially selected parts and quite a bit of luck! So, if you have the money and are willing to invest in expensive memory modules, the Corsair XMS4400 TwinX kit is definitely one of the top pick!
