USB drives have become the norm, with many of us carrying them round on our necks; the floppy disc is officially dead due to the huge amounts of data that can be transferred and easily using USB. However, not all pen drives are created equal and today I have the speedy Corsair Voyager GT which boasts 8GB of storage and quick snap transfers.

While you may be asking yourself why we bothered to look at a 256MB flash drive, we decided to examine the Corsair Flash Voyager 256MB as it appeals to a variety of different users from those wanting to run a mini Linux LiveUSB distribution or to using this storage device for other purposes where a large storage capacity drive really isn't needed. The Flash Voyager 256MB also sells for less than $10 USD, which could make this an ideal stocking stuffer for almost any computer user. With that said, we decided to take a quick look at the CMFUSB2.0-256 today on Phoronix.

If money is no object and you want the absolute best money can buy then there is simply no alternative available to Corsair's PC-10000 Dominator memory. It's how Corsair has targeted this memory and how we have skewed the final scores accordingly. You are simply not going to be concerned with the poor value score if you are thinking of buying either of these memory kits. But for those very few who are confused and wondering what to throw a large chunk of money at in a new system, then there are just too many other factors, like motherboard choice, that overrule any pure performance increase from just memory alone. You could make some educated buying decisions and concentrate on building a more balanced system with better-value performance increases. That's not to say you don't need performance memory, because of the cumulative effects it provides as a fundamental system resource.

Last January we had reviewed the Corsair Secure Digital 133x 512MB card, which was great for its time but with more and more people now using SD cards in a variety of gadgets and needing greater storage capabilities, we couldn't help but to try out some of Corsair's larger offerings. At hand today we will be looking at the Corsair 133x 1GB SD card as well as the Corsair 60x 2GB SD card. Do Corsair's flash offerings still reign supreme?

Corsair claims their Flash Voyager GT 4GB to reach as fast as 34MB/s read and 28MB/s in addition to being an extremely durable drive with the rubber casing. So, who's going to need a flash drive this fast? On top of my head, I can think of someone who needs to install Vista from the USB key. The install process will be cut by more than half since the drive has much faster transfer speed and low access time. There are also people who OS straight from the thumbdrive.

Today we are looking at a DDR2 8500 kit from the new range of Dominator kits, what is so different about the Dominator series as that Corsair went out and totally redesigned the heat spreader (more on this later) they also sent over one of their memory fan coolers as well to help keep things cool.

The performance of the Corsair TWIN2X2048-10000C5SDF 2GB DDR2-10000 Dominator Series was nothing less than impressive. Having the ability to run CAS 3 at 853MHz, CAS 4 at 1135MHz and CAS 5 at 1314MHz makes wide range of options for enthusiasts and just happen to be some of the best timings that we have ever seen at 2.4V. I can't say enough good things about the overclocking of these modules...

How do you carry up to 3 DVD's, or 2000 MP3 songs, or 2500 JPGS in a shock and water resistant device along with your keys and your wallet. In the same pocket no less! According to CORSAIR, it's pretty simple. We check out their massive CORSAIR Flash Voyager 8 GB USB 2.0 Drive and put it through the torture test.

The 2GB Corsair DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-8888C4DF kit is the companies current flagship DDR-2 memory part.... and boy is it fast! The enthusiast game of overclocking computer hardware has become a very mainstream affair. Manufacturers use high end computer hardware to impress us, to dazzle us with fast numbers, jaw dropping features, and luxury options that grab everyone's attention. It takes a special kind of computer enthusiast to recognize that one must look past the flash, the verb-ladden names, and stare right into the heart of high speed low latency memory. The latter is quite important, and quite difficult to achieve.

In this review PCSTATS will be testing Corsair's latest 240 pin DDR2-800 memory, the 2GB Twin2X2048-6400C3 kit. Like the Twin2X2048-6400C4 that we had the opportunity to test previously, this set of memory is compatible with Enhanced Performance Profiles. What sets the 6400C3 kit apart from the rest are its timings... and they are some of the lowest anywhere.

Today we are taking a look at the world's fastest DDR-2 production memory and it's from Corsair. Rated at PC2-10000, it's able to run at 625MHz using a total of 2.4 volts and possibly even more if you are lucky enough. Can it truly dominate the competition, though? Let's have a look and see what a 2GB dual channel memory kit worth about $750 USD or $1000 AUD down under actually provides.

Corsair's DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-9136C5D memory takes a very bold step in the right direction by ditching the old stick on RAM heatspreaders and going with a fresh approach. Corsair redesigned the memory thermal solution by redesigning the memory module itself. We'll get to what Corsair has done in a bit, first here are some specs on the high performance Dominator Twin2X2048-9136C5D memory that is really the star of the show. Corsair's DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-9136C5D part is a 2GB dual channel memory kit, each module bing 1024MB in size. The Twin2X2048-9136C5D is rated to run at speeds up to DDR2-1142 MHz with 5-5-5-15 memory timings - that's very quick. The memory supports nVidia's Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) and really designed with nVIDIA nForce 680i based motherboards in particular.

These memories are outstanding: they are certified to work at a clock frequency of 1.111Mhz at 4-4-4-12 of latencies settings. They work very well also at 400-450 Mhz, with lower timings. Only one problem: the price is around 700?, surely high, but the kit has a great potential!

If Corsair can make great memory modules, they have now proven that they can also make great power supplies. The packaging is impressive, the design elegant, and the performance superb. Add to that the quietness of the unit, you got yourself one of the best power supplies in its class money can buy.
