"Batman: Arkham Asylum is a single player, third-person action/adventure from Eidos in which the Dark Knight is forced to take on his greatest challenge yet when he is trapped by arch rival, the Joker, within Gotham City's facility for the criminally insane, Arkham Asylum. In Batman: Arkham Asylum players strap on the gadget-heavy utility belt of the Caped Crusader. Gameplay here is a combination of both the knuckle crunching rush of hand to hand combat as you take on the hordes of thugs that infest Arkham Asylum, and stealth gameplay in which you must dispatch individuals from the shadows. Players can expect an engrossing single player campaign in which Batman continually moves forward to face the henchmen, bosses and traps that The Joker has set for him. Surrounded by an asylum full of dangerous criminals, many of which he put there and all at the beck and call of the Joker, can Batman survive and discover what is behind the Joker's intricate plot? See you in the following Review from Technic3D."

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men comes to you from IO Interactive, the creator of the popular Hitman game series. After four titles in a row for that series, IO have tried something different: a disturbing tale of two desperate convicts on a murderous rampage. Where Hitman was all about stealth and disguise, rewarding missions that were carried out unseen and unheard, in Kane & Lynch you make a lot of noise and spill a lot of blood.

Kane and Lynch is one of those odd games which manages to do so many things right, but so many things wrong too. It's clear from the offset that the unrelenting pace, complex backstory and coolly violent gameplay will make it an instant cult hit. However, the less than impressive graphics, awkward multiplayer and samey nature of the gameplay at the most basic level will equally just put some people off. If I were a psychic forced to predict the future of Kane and Lynch, I'd say it'll probably end up as one of those word-of-mouth games which is constantly recommended by fans and critics. Somehow though it will never really take off - like Psychonauts or Beyond Good and Evil, both of which I heartily and ironically recommend.

This game can be run just fine on a mid range system, but you'd miss out on the graphics. Unfortunately, the graphics are a bulk of what this game has going for it. This game looks every bit as good as games like Rainbow Six Vegas, but that?s just to trick you. Past the pretty wrapper you find out what this game really is, and that is just an incredibly repetitive shooter with a pretty lame gimmick. Don't get me wrong, the ability to take people's souls into yourself to gain your evil power is pretty cool, but being forced to do it to a room of fallen enemies can get boring as hell. I really wanted to enjoy this title going into it, and I tried very hard to, but for someone like me, graphics do not make the game. I need a game with a solid gameplay concept, and usually a good story to go along with it.

In the beginning there was Indiana Jones' but no matter how cool Indy was, he was soon forgotten once Lara Croft first appeared in Tomb Raider. By today's standards the game was awful low resolution textures, blocky environments, a retarded camera system and triangular breasts (which we all still drooled over nevertheless, right?). The game spawned a legacy that is still alive and kicking today, though only a few selected titles in the series were any good. With the recent jumpstart the franchise got with TR: Legend and 2007 being the 10th anniversary of the series the news that the original game would be remade caused quite the uproar amongst fans. Was the uproar warranted?

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a stonker of a game, proving capable on all fronts and brilliant in a few. It certainly has its problems - mainly involving a sometimes dodgy camera and occasionally frustrating combat - but for the bulk of it Anniversary not only recaptures the brilliance of the original Tomb Raider, but distills that brilliance and provides a double dose. Plot wise, the game isn't anywhere near as gripping as Legend was and the lack of supporting characters damages the way in which the story is told, but in terms of gameplay it's everything its predecessor was and more. While Anniversary isn't quite the best game in the Tomb Raider series, it's certainly close and for those who prefer length or replayability over story, Anniversary could well be the best game they buy this year. Heaps of unlockables and a string of coherent and expansive levels mean that the Lara's latest exploration has come back with mountains of gaming gold.

The fact that this tenth - well, nearly eleventh - anniversary remake is getting any kind of welcome at all comes down to last year's Tomb Raider: Legend. With this 'franchise reboot' the team at Crystal Dynamics managed something special - they updated the stale aspects of the series and give it a new cinematic gloss without totally losing its core appeal. The fact that the same basic team - including Lara's co-creator, Toby Gard - is behind this one-off, celebratory remake offers some hope that Anniversary might continue Ms Croft's rehabilitation.

For the hardcore RTSer, the game will mostly revolve around the "all your goldmines are belong to us" strategy, for whoever controls the mines has a noticeable advantage. When this game gets put on the $20 shelf it's time to buy it, but not before or you'll feel like you wasted your cash. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, I just don't think it's worth the $40 that most stores ask for.

I really enjoyed playing the game Commandos Strike force. I think it has an excellent story and excellent battle scenes. I enjoyed how the shooting and gameplay was in this game, and the action was cool too. The controls are basic so it wasn't hard to play and I didn't have to learn any new controls to play this title. The bottom line here is, if you like Great War games and love first person shooter games, then this is an excellent game for you and I think you should give this game a try. You'll probably like it. This is a great first person shooter game and I thank Pyro studios and Eidos for making this game. Gamers Choice Silver on this WW2 masterpiece.
