Evesham Technology's latest SilverSTOR XS aims to deliver a simple NAS (network attached storage) solution to small businesses along with a good range of RAID options and a price tag just on the right side of four figures. This compact cube is based on a Thecus N4100 appliance and the model on review is equipped with four 250GB Western Digital WD2500 Serial ATA (SATA) hard disks to provide a full 1TB of raw capacity...

The Evesham Quest Roma MT 37 is a mid-range machine which should appeal to a broad spectrum of users, based on specifications alone. It might not look as cool as the Acer Ferrari 4000 notebook, nor does it feature the same build quality - but it is a lot cheaper. The price difference is most likely due to the MSI M610 chassis which is far more basic than that of the Ferrari 4000 - there's no sign of carbon fibre here...

Evesham's new Acumen DC10 workstation stands big and tall in a matt black Chieftec DX-01B Dragon case. Inside there's acres of space for the E-ATX Asus K8N-DL motherboard with its pair of Opteron 275 processors, and taken together the case and motherboard provide plenty of scope for expansion. The case can house a floppy drive and six hard drives plus four optical drives while the K8N-DL (which uses the nForce4 Pro chipset) has the four native SATA and two IDE connectors that you would expect, and in addition there's a Silicon Image 3114R RAID controller with four more SATA connectors.

So there you have it. Evesham should be proud of itself for producing a simply stunning PC. With the Athlon 64 X2 4800+ and a pair of nVidia GeForce 7800 cards the Evesham Axis 64 Decimator 78 is gaming nirvana as it stands in mid 2005. It truly throws down the gauntlet to ATI, who have a single X850XT PE to compete with - which as the scores show gets blown away by a system like this. Of course with the release of CrossFire drivers and ATI's R520 this might change, but this is still vapourware compared to a system that if your get your credit card out could be sitting on your desk by this weekend...

Evesham is driving down the cost of GeForce 6800 based SLI system with the Axis AK47 and as long as you don't want the absolutely fastest SLI rig on the planet, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Axis AK47.

If this were just a regular PC, that was compact, quiet and capable of playing games it would have a lot going for it. Considering it's a DVB equipped MCE 2005 system as well, it's impossible not to recommend the Axis 64 X700.

The Evesham Voyager C510 is up against some very tough competition from bigger, established laptop manufacturers but manages to offer a lot for the price. Performance is good and you will even be able to play current games on it, if not at desktop performance levels. Overall, if you're looking for a well rounded notebook at a decent price then the Evesham could be what you're looking for.

The Evesham Duel SLi shows that SLi can be built into an affordable system. It's not a fully loaded luxury lined box, but the only real compromises that might give cause for second thoughts are the limited screen size and the sheer noise of the machine. But considering the affordable price, it's pretty much impossible not to recommend the Duel SLi.
