"It hasn't taken long for companies to start jumping on the bandwagon when it comes to modified versions of the GTX 400 series. We don't mean the normal bump in clock speeds, though; instead we're talking full on cooler redesigning.
The first update to the GTX 470 comes from Galaxy. It carries with it everything we want, including a new cooler that looks the goods along with an overclock. Looks can be deceiving, though; the Galaxy GTX 470 GC card might only look the goods and do nothing extra over the stock one. But let's hope this isn't the case."

Today we're looking at Galaxy's version of the GTX 260+ and it carries everything you want for a card that has been out for a while; a pretty mean looking cooler and an overclock that is going to give us a bump in performance. Today we'll be taking the time to see how the GTX 260+ from Galaxy we have here goes up against another Galaxy card, the GTS 250 and the current top single GPU card from ATI, the HD 4870, which is due to be replaced by the HD 4890 very soon.

While NVIDIA's GTS 250 isn't really new technology, Galaxy has chosen to put an Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo cooler on their card. Even though it uses two fans, the card is extremely quiet making it an excellent choice for a media PC. The best is that it won't cost you anything extra. Galaxy is offering their cards at NVIDIA's reference design MSRP of $149.

Just the other day we looked at the GTS 250 from Galaxy. But today we're looking at something a bit more higher up in the market, NVIDIA's number two card and the fastest single GPU graphics card on the market; the GTX 285. Galaxy has taken the time to get a bit down and dirty with the card and squeeze some extra MHz out of it. We're going to find out just how these extra MHz effect overall performance when compared to a card that follows the reference clock speeds.

Although ATI are taking all the top spots in the graphics card game at the moment, nVidia have their own offerings that promise good performance at a reasonable price. One such card is the mid-range 9600GT OC from Galaxy, which we managed to get hold of today. Let's see how it holds up.

NVIDIA recently launched the GeForce 9500 GT. This low-end card in the GeForce 9 Series is designed to offer acceptable gaming performance for the small wallet. Galaxy has created an overclocked edition which runs at higher clocks and comes with a quiet heatpipe cooling solution. In our testing we saw amazing overclocking potential of over 35% compared to the reference design clocks.

Digital media adapters are all the rage these days. More and more consumers are realizing the benefits of storing movies, music, and pictures on a computer and then displaying those media on a large monitor or television. The Galaxy Tvisto Pro DMA takes a SATA hard drive and embedded Linux and can play back a variety of formats from the hard drive or a wired or wireless network. It outputs in HD via component or VGA cables, but can also output to composite, as well. ThinkComputers has the review.

This card is really great for those who are looking for an upgrade from an old card, like a GeForce 6600 GT or Radeon X800. It offers a huge leap in performance over those older cards. The inclusion of a Zalman VF900-Cu cooler is a big bonus. Not only does this particular cooler perform really well, it is also very quiet. Kudos to Galaxy!

This Galaxy nForce i650 Ultra is a middle-class motherboard, that includes some characteristics and features from most expansive products. The nForce 650i Ultra is a very interesting chipset, that offers a superior stability if confronted with similar products by other brands. Together with the high-quality components of the alimentation sections of CPU and RAM, it allows good overclock capabilities to this motherboard. The price is around 80?, very good for what this product offers.

How can you differentiate yourself as video card manufacturer in a crowded market? Galaxy decided to add extra cooling and apply very high factory overclocked speeds to their 8600 GT based products which they call the 8600 GE. Coming close to speeds of the more expensive 8600 GTS we find out if this video card is worth your money if you are looking for a budget-minded VGA upgrade.

When the G84 and G86 cards were released, reviewers around the world posted their reviews, giving generally quite mixed opinions. However, although there were several positive reviews of the 8600GT cards, the GTS ones received very little good publicity due to their mid range pricing with budget performance. Today I have with me the Galaxy 8600GTS OC; perhaps this one can reverse the stigma.

Having found the 8600GT cards from MSI to be great value for money, I was intrigued when asked to review Galaxy's overclocked version of the same card. How would it perform? And can it be overclocked even more? Let's find out.

The Galaxy Premium GeForce 7950GT in SLI configuration with Zalman cooling offers great performances, certainly above the average ones. The cooler is quiet, makes a good work and allows most demanding users to get higher frequencies from the board. The price for two of this Galaxys to be used in SLI is around 600?, maybe too much to be spent for a graphic solution for someone. But this configuration will not disappoint its owners, offering them outstanding sensation in games and benchmarks.
