The Black Siberia headphones represent a good midrange option when it comes to gaming headsets. The extra long cord, detachable microphone as well the independent controls are great additions that set these headphones apart from most. Add to that the quality of construction of the headphones and you have setup that is well worth your money and probably outlast most other headsets in the same category. While the sound from the speakers could have been better for the price they are well within the accepted standards.

The Icemat 2nd Edition mouse pad utilizes actual glass as surface. Making this material usable for optical and laser mice is certainly no small feat. We take a look at the black pad, but Icemat offers it in many other different colors as well.

We've reviewed pretty much the entire SteelSeries line of headsets, and the In:Ears of their subsidiary; Icemat. However, today I have the full Siberia headset which was brought to relative fame by Basshunter with his Dota ditty. Let's see if they are ready to be endorsed by XSReviews as well?

The Siberia In:Ear Headset take my expectations for earbud style headphones to a whole new level thanks to the sound quality, comfort level, and noise blocking capabilities. They work well for audio playback, and adding the microphone creates a convenient way to communicate over IP telephones or in online games.

The Icemat 2nd Edition mouse pad is a really cool looking mouse pad. Made entirely of glass, this mouse pad has real heft in both weight and mousing surface. It may not be suitable for LAN parties, but it's perfect for a home PC. Its large surface area ensures that you will never run out of mousing surface while its weight prevents it from moving. In addition, because it's made from glass, this mouse pad will never warp, even after years of use! The only complaint we have about the physical construction of the mouse pad was its base coat. It was highly susceptible to smudges and fingerprints, which are very hard to remove...

If you are looking for a gaming headset that has a very unique and attractive design, the Icemat Siberia may fit the bill. No one can doubt that its design and cool blend of white and black look superb. It will certainly make you the envy at any LAN party! Its audio reproduction and recording performance is excellent as well. So, it's not all look and no substance. Its only downsides are the poor cabling system and probably the open type of design which results in poor passive noise reduction...

The Icemat Siberia is a very good set of audio equipment for the everyday gaming enthusiast. I really don't have many bad things I can say about this product. Other than Icemat installing a few more air holes in the ear pieces to completely get rid of the sweating after prolonged periods of time, the volume controller also should be made slightly lighter so that it can hang without you being able to feel a pull on the speaker wire. Possibly some sort of clip could be incorporated into it as well.
