Inno3D's 7900GS IChiLL Accelero S1M comes overclocked out of the box quite significantly and it utilizes a heat pipe cooling solution designed by Arctic Cooling - it's not the best when it comes to VGA overclocking, actually it is usually downright miserable to be completely honest, although did Inno3D manage to surprise us with the first graphics card offering that we have seen from them? It clearly will be a hit or miss product, let's continue on and see if the new iChiLL series from Inno3D is at all worth considering!

Whether or not the card is worth considering over a Radeon X1950 Pro depends on what games you're playing and your personal preferences for ATI and Nvidia hardware and / or software. The Radeon X1950 XT 256MB is generally a much better performer at 1280x1024, but it's also around £30 more expensive, too. At just over £100 including VAT though, the Inno3D GeForce 7900 GS iChiLL is a great buy if you?re gaming at 1280x1024 and aren't too worried about DirectX 10 support for the time being.

For many of you, the question will be: buy now or wait for a DirectX 10 compatible card? The answer comes down to how often you upgrade your video card, and what games you are looking to play. If you are looking for more performance in current generation games, and are happy to spend another £200-300 when next generation hardware arrives, then both ATI's Radeon X1900XT 256MB and Inno3D's GeForce 7950 GT 512MB will suit your needs well, depending on the resolutions you?re looking to play at.

Back at the beginning of September, nVidia launched the 7900 GS and 7950 GT. Although I covered this in a news story, it's only now that I have managed to take a look at the 7900 GS. With the ATI X1950 Pro launched today, and G80 just around the corner, I felt I couldn't really review the former without first looking at this card first.

Unlike the GeForce 7800GS, the GeForce 7600GS?s price is very reasonable and it?s a medium range card. That means you can use this baby to play the latest games, with anisotropic filtering and Anti-Aliasing at medium resolutions (1024x768 and 1280x1024) with playable frame rates. However, the 7600GS is not aimed for the extremely high resolutions such as 1600x1200 and above. But, in some cases, you will be able to play it in these high resolutions but without Anisotropic Filtering and Anti-Aliasing.

The new 7900GS and 7950GT products are available already from a number of manufacturers and retailers, selling for approximantely $220 and $300, respectively. This puts the GeForce 7950GT as the logical replacement for the 7900GT, as it costs just a fraction more yet should deliver better performance. The question to be asked now is how will this new GeForce 7950GT compare to ATI's Radeon X1900XT? On paper it would seem to be anyone's guess, yet that is exactly what we are here to find out today.

The many incarnations of NVIDIA's new GeForce 7300 GT chipset have surprised us with its performance and value. At its best, this newcomer can joust with midrange cards like the Radeon X1600 XT and GeForce 7600 GS. Inno3D's version is one of these with better specs than expected, so read on to see what we uncovered.

The purpose of the GT moniker from Nvidia's perspective is to offer a fully capable mid-range card for people who cannot justify or afford the high-end GTX but want the high levels of performance. The Inno3D 7800 GT fits the bill perfectly. What you get here is a rock solid, no frills package which is faster than a 6800 Ultra or X850XT PE and not very far behind the 7800 GTX...
