"Engineered for advanced precision and control." That was the slogan used on the retail box of Logitech's MX500 high performance optical mouse way back in the day (Funny how I still remember it so clearly so many years later, haha). The Logitech MX500 was undoubtedly a success when it was released in 2003, and it was held in very high regard by enthusiasts and gamers alike. In fact, the same Logitech MX500 I purchased in Hong Kong more than half a decade ago still holds its own special place here at APH Networks in Calgary, Alberta. But performance was not the only reason why I liked it so much. It was the contoured shape of the shell that delivered a snug and comfortable fit, especially for a user such as yours truly who enjoys operating a mouse with my palm resting over its entire surface. And I was not the only one that liked the mouse so much for its cutting edge performance during its time, as well as its brilliant shell shape. Its popularity led to the same basic design being carried over to the MX510 and MX518; when the laser sensor came along, the G5 and G5 V2 were also created. Being a proud owner of every mouse in the series, it should not be surprising that Logitech's latest successor is being added to my collection -- other than maybe the fact that it wasn't until now that I am reviewing it! Building upon the G5 V2 as aforementioned that received the highest mark ever awarded on APH Networks since May 2007, and has held that honor ever since for three years and counting, how will the Logitech G500 -- now with a even more powerful laser sensor, 'frictionless' scroll wheel, and onboard memory -- step up against its very well received predecessors? Read on to find out!

Logitech's G110 is a worthy successor to the G11 keyboard for macro junkies who don't have a need for an LCD display but want all the other frills gaming keyboards have to offer. The only disappointment to be had is that by the omission of a green backlighting channel, the G110's configurable backlighting is rather limited compared to the rest of Logitech's 2009 lineup.

"Logitech have been around for a long time now and produce some of the most well made gadgets and speaker systems for your PC. They have also been busy producing some fantastic mouse and keyboard solutions, too. You might call Logitech the ?all-rounder? of all things multimedia. Today i have one of their newer products, the small and lightweight S125i speaker dock for use with Apple?s ever growing range of portables and smart phones."

Media center setups are now a part of many homes, and with that comes the need to have good input devices to handle the functionality of the setup. Logitech steps forward with the diNovo Edge and really brings home what it means to be a major player in the input device market. This product does pretty much everything right.

No stranger to the ubiquitous pointing device, Logitech boasts an impressive 20+ year history building mice and computer peripherals. Having surpassed the one billion mouse mark back in 2008, they are the undisputed leader in electronic rodent computer peripherals. New for 2009, the Logitech Anywhere MX wireless mouse combines wireless connectivity with unique "Darkfield" tracking technology for a mouse that is said to be able to track on pure glass and other highly reflective surfaces. Designed to be a fully-featured portable workhorse, the Anywhere MX also brings a rather unique scroll wheel to the party. How well does it all work in the cold, cruel world? Come to our glossy new labs to see if the Anywhere MX can track straight and true.

"Although Logitech's G500 Gaming Mouse is the cheaper cousin to the company's flagship gaming mouse, the G9x we reviewed in March, we much prefer this simpler rodent. It delivers nearly all the same features, and it's a better fit for our hands. It's not a perfect though: We'd score the G500 even higher if it felt as comfortable as Logitech's wireless Anywhere Mouse MX and used Logitech's new Darkfield laser. We're also not fans of the G500's "battle-worn" finish, which makes the mouse look aged right out of the box. When we first opened our sample, we thought Logitech had sent us a unit that some sweaty product tester had been pounding on for the last six months. Yuck."

"Have you ever wondered why more audio companies aren't building PC speakers these days? Listen to Logitech's Z523 speaker system and you'll ask a second question that handily explains the first: How in the world can any company manufacture powered speakers that sound this good and sell them for a hundred bucks? Before the audiophiles in the crowd issue a fatwa on us though, let us be clear in that we are praising these speakers chiefly for their price/performance ratio. They suffer mightily in comparison to some of the pricier speakers we've auditioned-Audioengine USA's $350 A5, for example, but frankly, we haven't heard anything that comes close to the Z523 at this price range."

Notebooks have become more integral to our daily lives more than ever before and while in the past they were specifically designed for mobility and battery longevity, today's systems can feature fast discrete graphics cards and high-power quad core processors that will blow away any gaming experience, excel sheet and video editing suite. But all that power comes at the price of heat and the sheer annoyance that you can't even place your notebook on your lap from the fear that it will overheat or lead to pre-mature hardware failures. In the past, I've reviewed Choiix's feature-rich but average cooler and the Antec 200 over-powered notebook cooler, but today I have the Logitech N100 USB laptop cooler in our labs to see what this renowned company can possibly build into a cooler to sway our purchasing dollars their way.

Lately, people have started paying attention to the finer details of PC gaming. One thing that used to be overlooked was audio. Saving up for that killer PC build usually didn't include a nice set of speakers, especially if there were room mates to consider. Now products have come out that take care of this problem. Gaming headsets are becoming more and more popular, which comes to no surprise that Logitech has stepped up with their new G35 7.1 surround sound headset release earlier this year.

"Logitech's Performance Mouse MX is the desktop cousin to the company's mobile Anywhere Mouse MX, and it's every bit as fabulous. Both mice feature Logitech's exquisite Darkfield Laser Tracking, which enables them to function accurately on just about any surface, including glass, and both devices use Logitech's new Unifying wireless technology, which enables a single tiny USB-powered wireless receiver to control multiple peripherals. For this review, we ran the Performance Mouse MX alongside Logitech's new Wireless Keyboard K350 to see how it would perform - read on to find out the results."
