"The Revoltec Mouse W104 arrived Technic3D. The Revoltec Wired Mouse W104 uses an optical sensor and 1600dpi sampling rate to provide precision for any application. The dpi switch integrated beneath the scroll wheel makes it easy to switch between two sampling rates (800 or 1600 dpi). Technic3D will see the functions in the following Review."

Revoltec started out their business in Germany back in 2003. The products from Revoltec are generally characterized by their originality. They often carry innovations which you will not find elsewhere. Revoltec?s main business area has up till recently been their case modding products, but things are changing and they now have a respectable setup of input devices in their catalog?

Revoltec are a company based in Germany, well known throughout Europe for their line-up of gaming and modding products. They have been in business for several years and most people know that they are a subsidiary to Listan (along with other brand names such as BeQuiet). A couple of years ago we had a look at several gaming and illuminated desktop peripherals from Revoltec, including the first version of Lightmouse as well as the Fightboard and the Fightmouse of their gaming series. Revoltec have expanded their gaming series with the FightPad Advanced which is a mini-keyboard designed for FPS games and released three new versions of the Lightmouse. These are the very products we are checking out today.

The Revoltec LightMouse Portable und Collectors Edition arrived Technic3D. The LightMouse Portable offers the highest possible precision for every usage with its PAN 3101 sensor and a sampling rate of 1000 dpi? The integrated optical sensor is particularly low-current and is optimised for mobile operations. The retractable connector cable of the LightMouse Portable is fitted with a small cable reel thereby ensuring space-saving storage of the mouse without any cable spaghetti. You can see that in the following Review.

The Rhodium looks stunning, the blue led in the front illuminating the entire door looks really cool. The paint finish is tough enough to withstand some heavy using and although it doesn't stand out in size, it's still a large enough case to fill it with lots of hardware. In the end, this case looks great, but don't expect to remove a dvd drive within a few seconds. Better get your toolkit out and start removing that front bezel again.

Revoltec has made a simple, yet attractive case for not too much money. The Zirconium is currently sold for around 60 euro's. The front of the case is sleek and the I/O ports on top are a nice addition for easy access. The blue led's in the front lit's up nicely. Although the case is a bit cheaper, it surely doesn't have to be less good than other cases that are twice the price of the Zirconium. The Zirconium has the same internals as higher end cases and the finishing touches are just as good. No sharp edges to be found and no vibrations from hard drives either.

The majority of Revoltec products consist of trendy looking cables, fans, input devices and USB peripherals. They are still not one of the most well known companies on the planet, but they are well respected by enthusiasts throughout Europe. Although most products Revoltec produce have been modding related equipment, they have recently begun to diversify more and moved on to cooling, enclosure and ATX case products.

Revoltec chose a rather unique name for their company, and their cases also have a rather unique look. We've seen the Zirconium, and today I have the Rhodium continuing their naming scheme for elements. The Rhodium has similar looks to the Zirconium with the trademark top triangular I/O plate and the large front panel. Let see how it performs.

Revoltec introduces a new enthusiast minded enclosures at a very affordable price, we test their mid-sized Zirconium RT-101 which features a classy front panel and 120mm cooling fan, stress testing it with high end VGA cards, as well as mid-range to see how this new case handles the heat.

When it gets right down to the final conclusions though, we reckon the Rhodium is a massive improvement over the retch-worthy Zirconium, which I am still not allowed to place anywhere in sight of passer-bys. The Rhodium is a handsome, quiet PC chassis with a superior construction and the overall product is let down only in a few minor areas. It still waits to be seen if the value of the case will stand up as we hope it will, but if it does then the Rhodium could well be a decently nice, quiet case for a gamer on a budget - providing they can funnel some extra funds into cooling solutions.
