The Saitek Cyborg keyboard lands somewhere squarely between pretty and gaudy. No, this getup is not business appropriate, but it is ironically the most aesthetically customizable keyboard we've seen. And still, it doesn't look like the kind of design you would see on an adult's desk, unless you adorn your monitor with Voltron toys. Read on to find out why we think this keyboard really needs some TLC in a number of departments.

Of the Cyborg line, we are taking a look at the Cyborg Command Unit. This is a keypad, with a dedicated set of keys targeting the number and pattern used most frequently in first person shooters. It's not unlike the Wolfking Warrior Xxtreme we reviewed a while back, but much smaller with fewer keys.

The Cyborg Laser Mouse is a part of many other gaming peripherals on the Cyborg series put out by Saitek. This mouse offers a unique design with many features. These include pre-installed Hyperglide mouse feet, 10 programmable buttons, 3200DPI, and a motorized mouse extension. I've seen mice with adjustable weights and adjustable buttons before, but this is the first time that I have seen a mouse with an adjustable length. Read on further to see the mouse in action.

Saitek is an established leader in the area of PC gaming accessories and their latest line of products - the Cyborg line - is absolutely top-notch. In addition to things like gaming keyboards and mice, they've also got the Saitek Cyborg 5.1 headset. This certainly isn't the first set of headphones to offer the 5.1 experience, but I must say, these are some of the best headphones I've used in quite some time.

I have a great appreciation for high quality cover-the-ear headphones. I've used ones that cost under $20, and others that cost over $200. I prefer cover-the-ear, as I'm easily distracted by outside noise.and in gaming, distractions often mean the difference between getting a clean headshot and getting pwned. Saitek has been around for nearly 30 years, and has grown to be the world's second largest manufacturer of gaming peripherals. The Saitek GM2400 Laser Mouse certainly has a unique appearance with its grayscale camouflage. In addition to its crazy color scheme there are some important features to it. It offers three different settings to change your DPI and a quick switch button that helps you switch between the 800, to 1600, to 2400 DPI modes. The device is like a small keyboard with 21 keys and three shift states allowing you to bind lots of commands to the device. If you are a gamer who travels often to LAN parties, this is an excellent device for you. To change shift modes you slide an analog switch on the upper left corner of the Saitek Cyborg Command Unit. As you change modes the backlighting color of the gamepad changes to so you know what mode you are in at a glance. The backlighting changes through green, red, and yellow colors.

First of all, this is a very reasonably priced controller: depending on the retailer, it is a little over $100. The Saitek X52 has more buttons then my Jeep (no kidding). It will be extremely hard to run across a flying game that is not compatible with this joystick. Even a game made in 1997 worked great on the X52. Another amazing feature of the X52 Flight Control System is the ability to program different games on different profiles. Thus the X52 is large-family-friendly as well: one joystick with multiple profiles for multiple games, so what more could you want? Whether it is just for your or even if you have to share, the Saitek X52 Flight Control System is a "must-own" for any flight enthusiast. This really is a great product.

Anyone that owns a laptop usually has a few accessories. One of the first accessories people pick up is a mouse, even some laptops come with mice. A lot people prefer mice over the touchpad on their laptop and find them a lot easier to use. The second is usually a USB hub because a lot of laptops do not have enough USB ports for all of your accessories. Saitek offers both notebook mice and USB hubs. They have sent us their Notebook Optical Mouse and Mini UFO hub. These are perfect stocking stuffers, let's see if they are worth picking up.

Having gotten pretty well accustomed to the XBOX 360 Controller, it was with great interest that I received a couple of Saitek brand controllers for review. We'll first look at the Saitek Cyborg as it's the closest in configuration to the XBOX 360 Controller.

Saitek might not be the first name to come to mind when contemplating a gaming mouse purchase, but after taking a look at their 1600DPI and 3200DPI offerings, the message is clear: Saitek has the capability to be a real threat to the better known competition. These mice are not perfect, but we are on the right track.

The most interesting feature of the Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad is the Cyborg-module which is a silver module on the left side of the gamepad that can be removed and flipped around. This allows you to put the D-pad and joystick on the left side into two configurations.

The most prominent feature is of course the most frivolous: the dimmer-controlled, multi-color back-lighting. The colors are a manly blue, a macho red and nice, frilly pink. Okay, I know it's supposed to be purple, but trust me...it's more pink than purple. I mean really, would Obi-Wan Kenobi carry a pink light saber? At least the lady gamers will have something to go with a Power Puff Girls case mod. Frivolous or not, the lighting looks cool and it actually comes in handy in low light settings such as LAN parties. And the back-light combined with the laser-etched keys is much more aesthetically pleasing than the pale blue of many lighted keyboards.
