Ever felt like sharing that one song's amazing guitar riff with a friend, only to surrender your earbuds or dangle them between yourselves as you both try to listen in on what has now become a miniscule peep? Short of carrying yet another AA-driven pocket weight at all times, there was never really a better alternative, until Samsung smartened up and did something about it. The end result is the YP-K5, the latest in their Yepp line of MP3 players to have crossed our eardrums and clamor for a review.

The GX-10 is a 10.2-megapixel high-performance digital SLR aimed at the enthusiast or semi-professional photographer. It has a number of advanced features, including built-in moving-sensor shake reduction, a two-part anti-dust system to help keep the CCD clean, a strong weatherproof body with environmental seals on all hatches, a large bright pentaprism viewfinder, 11-point autofocus system and a 22-bit A/D converter. High-speed Samsung DDR2 memory chips give it a fast 3fps continuous shooting speed with no frame limit.

All over the world, people know the Samsung name, and most people have either used or purchased a Samsung product at some point in their lives. In recent years, Samsung has had notable success in the HDTV market as well as the camcorder market. The Samsung SC-DC564, one of the newest camcorder releases, is a beautiful, miniDVD-capable unit that seems to be very budget-friendly at only $349 USD. Check out our hands-on review to see if the SC-DC564 is representative of Samsung's good name or if it'll be remembered as a shameful disappointment.

You, see it's all very well harping on about how fantastic the Mac is, and don't get me wrong I think they're great, but when it comes down to it, price counts for a lot. This Samsung R20 is a case in point - it does the classic PC job of offering a lot more for your money than an equivalent Mac. This is particularly relevant as in designing the R20, the first of its notebooks to appear under its new Aura branding, Samsung is clearly gunning for the black MacBook.

On the outside the Samsung SyncMaster XL20 looks like your run of the mill 20" LCD, but on the inside there's a difference in some of the underlying technology. Rather than using a CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) as a backlight the XL20 uses an array of that geeks favourite source of illumination, the LED. In particular, this unit uses an RGB LED that produces a very true white as well as a perfectly even backlight. This is said to produce 114% of the NTSC colour gamut. There's a full run-down on what this monitor can do on the next page as to what this monitor can do. The long and the short of it is Samsung has saddled this new backlight technology to an already super-bright 250cd/m2 monitor with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and an 8ms pixel response time, which makes for a very exciting product that we're hoping pans out in testing.

Overall I have been very pleased with the 226BW's performance. It offers a great combination of stylish looks and performance that won't be easily matched by its rivals. The high contrast ratio, static and dynamic, combined with the fast response time to produce a stellar image makes me want to grab two for my room!

If you are a movie buff that also wants a good LCD monitor for home/office work and wouldn't mind the minor extra scrolling, than this monitor will be perfect for you. It has an amazingly bright picture for its specifications and will bring a whole new level of enjoyment to DVD viewing on your computer, or from a HDCP compliant DVD player.

The nano is dead; long live the nano. The Samsung YP-T9 is everything the iconic Apple MP3 player is, plus much, much more. In fact, we would go so far as to say that unless you are married to a library full of music from iTunes, there is no reason to consider a nano if the T9 is any indication of where Windows Media Player compatible devices are headed.

The Samsung SGH-X830 looks more like a portable music player than a phone - it is tall, thin and undersized for a mobile - the dimensions are 84 x 30 x 19.9mm. It weighs 72g, which is less than any mobile I can remember seeing and supports MP3, ACC, ACC+, e-AAC+, WMA file formats.
