Never heard of slotRadio? It is an initiative by SanDisk to
capitalize on the DRM encumbered music market. For a one time fee, you
get lots of music that is playable on certain devices that can play
slotRadio media. We at ASE Labs thought that the market moved on from
proprietary forms of media. Still, we'll see if it has some worth to it.

"Today, we look at the 8GB version of the SanDisk Memory Stick Micro (M2) designed specifically for Sony's PlayStation Portable Go or PSPGo handheld electronic gaming system. The SanDisk M2 is not only an ultra-small IC recording media designed for the PSPGo, but it is also designed to work for the growing storage needs of highly compact, multifunctional mobile phones and cameras. The M2 card that we have today is designed to offer an easy way of storing downloadable games, movies, TV shows, pictures, comics, and music. Our package included a Memory Stick Micro M2 to Memory Stick PRO Duo adapter which allows gamers to go back and forth between Memory Stick M2 and Memory Stick Duo compatible slots..."

"The 32GB SanDisk Extreme SDHC cards are very impressive to say the least. These are the highest capacity versions of SanDisk's fastest SDHC cards, with read and write speeds up to 30MB per second. They're ideal for use in the new breed of digital SLR cameras that record HD video, such as the Nikon D90 and D5000. The high performance of SanDisk Extreme SDHC cards help users capture fast-action images like the pros when using continuous burst mode, along with more rapid offloading of images and videos from the cards to computer. The SDHC card format also works on a variety of devices, such as digital picture frames, netbooks, and the new MacBook Pros and iMacs, for easy transfer and sharing of images, video and other digital files. You can never have too much memory, so if you are going all out on your camera body then a memory card like the 32GB SanDisk Extreme should be an easy choice..."

"Reviewing the new SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash card is easier said than done due to its blazing speed. The card is so fast that every device I tested with the SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash Card was slower than the CF card. "

Using the Removable Storage Benchmark found in SiSoftware Sandra 2009 SP3 we were able to get a pretty good idea of the performance that the SanDisk ImageMate Multi-Card USB 2.0 Reader/Writer offers with various file sizes. As you can tell from the chart above, performance generally increases as the file size goes up. In the 64MB Files Test the Sandisk reader was 39% faster than the Kingston reader when it came to reading files of this size...

iPods are great music players, but there are also other options. The Sansa Fuze is an iPod nano competitor. The Fuze has an FM radio and a built-in voice recorder; two features that the nano lacks, so we decided to take a look and see how the Fuze stacks up against the iPod and other portable music players.

If you are looking for a faster and easier way to get files to and from your microSDHC MP3 player or smartphone SanDisk has what you need. Today we are looking at the Mobile Ultra microSDHC card that includes a USB card reader. The SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC 8GB did fantastically on the Sandra Removable storage benchmark. The SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC 8GB had a device index of 4124 ops/minute and an endurance factor of 43.60. That score completely blows away the OCZ microSD card I reviewed back in March that had a device index of only 27 ops/minute.
