Sharkoon have introduced an interesting product for PC enthusiasts that allows you to plug SATA hard drives into an external enclosure - without the need to screw into a drive bay. It looks just like a HDD docking station, you can plug/remove drives at any time and access the data on your PC via USB cable. As computers are upgraded it is inevitable that spare SATA drives will start to mount up, and yet there isn't enough space to attach them to most motherboards. This solution lets you quickly access drives when required, saving the hassle of swapping drives inside your PC with the power off. You can use 3.5" or 2.5" drives without the need for any screwdriver or tools.

Sharkoon has released a refresh of their 1337 Gaming Mat series. The new pads have grown considerably and carry the XL label. The big downside of the original 1337 Gaming Mat was its small size. The new XL mouse pads still have the great quality and performance of their smaller variants, while keeping the price down - perfect for low sensitivity gamers.

The Sharkoon Rush Laser mouse brings high DPI laser technology down to an affordable price range. For a mere 20 Euros you get up to 2000 DPI with variable on-the-fly switching, solid feel and build quality as well as a little pouch to get your weapon of choice to and back from a LAN party safely. We take the mouse for a spin and let you know if we feel the rush.

To really test the Silent Storm 120 I ran some demanding programs on all parts of the system. The CPU was clocked up to 3.0GHz. 3dMark 05 was used to stress the GPU while Prime95 was used on both cores to stress them and the memory. At the same time a DVD was written to from the hard disk to stress the file system.

We take a look at Sharkoon's latest gaming mouse pad, which is only 1.4 mm high and can be rolled up to make transportation to LAN parties easier. The mat has a cloth top and uses foam at the bottom to make sure it's not slipping around on the table. At the end of the day the Sharkoon 1337 gaming mat which costs only $10 does not disappoint.

Fans serve a necessary purpose in computer cases but that does not mean they cannot have style while doing so. The Sharkoon Rainbow TC gives eye candy appeal to what would normally be a less flashy spot on your case. Sure, there are other lit, even a couple other animated, fans on the market but how many of those are as eye catching and functional as this one? The temperature readout is sure to get some second glances at a lanparty or from family and friends. Whether you are a modder or someone who just wants to try swapping out a fan before pulling out the Dremel, this is the way to go...

Remember back during the days of XP mobile processor overclocking, when it was necessary to have a high spinning fan like a Delta or equivalent. Yes, those days are far behind us now. Today we don't have to pump loads of voltage in our processors nor do have to resort to using loud 80mm case fan. Today, we have larger 120mm, slower spinning, noiseless and high CFM fans. Sharkoon was kind enough to send us their latest offering into the 120mm cooling fan market, the Silent Eagle...

The Red Shock combines special cooling fins, a basic plate suitable for all sockets and efficient heat pipes to one universal all-purpose high end cooler. Purest copper was used as basic material, granting extraordinary quality and performance. Another new feature is the innovative fanning module, which optionally allows the mounting of an 80 mm, 92 mm or 120 mm fan. Therefore this cooler qualifies for an extremely silent CPU cooling as well as for an enormously powerful CPU cooling. The four heat pipes guarantee an effective heat conductance to the cooling fins, so that adequate cooling performance is reached for all current Pentium 4 and Athlon 64 processors, depending on the used fan...

Sharkoon came up with a new silent solution when it comes to fans, namely the Silent Eagle range. The Silent Eagle comes in 2 different versions, the Eagle 1000 and Eagle 2000 where the number stands for the rotation speed of the propeller. So what is so exciting about this new Silent Eagle 2000 and is it actually any different from many other silent fans on the market? Sharkoon itself sets the trend, and differentiates themselves from the other brands. Let's find out together what that means...

Up for review today is Sharkoon's new Silent Eagle 2000 Fan. What is the fancy name all about and how is this "silent" fan different from many other silent fans on the market? In a word... dimples. The Silent Eagle line of fans from Sharkoon feature a new fan-blade design similar to that of a golf ball. Let's see if this new fan design really makes a difference...

I have to say this kit was an eye opener, when it first arrived I thought it was a tad on the small size for a 5,1 kit. I mean the creative 2.1 kit I looked at not so long ago came in a larger box, but well small is beautiful and when you can get speakers this small to sound good you must be doing something right. Crisp sharp and excellent Dolby digital reproduction doesn't normally happen in a 5.1 kit sub 75 GBP so I have to recommend this kit. When you look at the features and the hear the sound this kit great value for money and awarded our best in catorgary award for it price to quality ratio...

Sharkoon continues to expand their product line-up, their latest case fan takes a rather unique approach for trying to improve performance. The Silent Eagle line-up consist of truly silent case fans. The performance/noise ratio is excellent and matches that of the best 80mm fans out there. Do note that the "1000" model should only be considered in places where a lot of airflow is not vital to the safe operation of your hardware...
