SilverStone is known for making great power supplies. The last 2 power supplies we reviewed from them received 10 out of 10 scores, so I was happy when SilverStone said they were sending me another power supply. With the emergence of 1000W power supplies on the market it will be interesting to see how SilverStone's ST1000 compares to other 1000W power supplies that we have tested. So let's take a look!

With motherboards getting smaller and smaller, small form factor PCs are all the rage. It's possible to fit a whole lot of computing power into these tiny spaces, and people are taking notice. However, most SFF cases require you to make sacrifices in the way of graphics card length, or the size of power supply that you can use. The SilverStone Sugo SG02 which builds on the success of the SG01, is able to house large GPU's, a couple of 5.25" drives, a pair of HDD's and a full size PSU. Hopefully this will show the competition how it's meant to be done.

SilverStone recently released a couple of new fans, the SST-FM and SST-FN series. The first series features adjustable fan speeds while the latter ones have fixed fan speeds. In this review I'm taking a closer look at the high-performance SilverStone FM123 120mm fan which comes with a small fan controller that allows you to adjust the fan's RPM.

Last year we reviewed the SilverStone Temjin TJ09, which was an incredible EATX chassis and the best that we had seen all year. Well, half way through 2007 at Computex Taipei we caught our first glimpse of the Temjin TJ10 and now in August we finally have our hands on this beautiful-looking computer enclosure. The Temjin TJ10 takes the winning TJ09 design but incorporates several improvements. What are these changes for the TJ10 and is this case worth the $320+ price tag? We'll tell you in the world's first review of the SilverStone TJ10-BW.

1000W used to only be for kettles or heaters, but now your PC can be supplied with a kilowatt of energy. Several manufactures have had a go at the 1000W supply, and I've yet to see one that really stands out from the crowd. Today I have the SilverStone Strider which builds on the success of their many other power supplies. Have they got it right?

One of the most critical components any PC enthusiast can drop some cash on is a decent CPU cooler. Whether you pick air or water cooling, a heatsink can make or break your CPU's performance and longevity. One unique heatsink on the market right now is Silverstone's NT06-Lite. This CPU cooler is designed to be used in Small Form Factor systems without a fan. But, users also have the option to install any 120mm fan on it for improved performance. Let's see if this all aluminum and copper wonder can fit the bill in our LGA775 system.

The Silverstone Strider 850W is a power supply designed with gamers in mind. It comes with a modularity feature and allows up to eight PCI-Express video card connectors to be used. As fan a 135mm variant is employed, together with the high efficiency of 80%+ it allows the unit to be very quiet, considering the maximum power output of 850W.

Over the years of looking at SilverStone products we have seen a wide variety of cases and with all of them they've sported top-notch construction, excellent designs with useful features, and with each new model their products only seem to get better. Two of the SilverStone cases we looked at recently were the Temjin TJ09 and the Sugo SG03 SFF. The SilverStone TJ09 chassis was the best ATX case we'd seen all of last year and we are looking forward to seeing if this year's Temjin TJ10 can continue in that success. Meanwhile, the Sugo SG03 is what we had called the "SG01 on steroids and it's a sexy yet functional micro ATX chassis", which remains one of the best micro ATX cases to date. Anyways, enough with the past. Today we managed to get our hands on SilverStone's latest micro ATX product, which is the Milo ML02. The SilverStone Milo ML02 is the successor to the Milo ML01 that we looked at this past September. The Milo ML01 was a great package, but the ML02 is rebuilt almost from the ground up and extends support for DTX and ITX motherboards. Continue on as we look at this well-designed MoDT (Mobile on Desktop) chassis with an extremely slim profile, fanless power supply, and integrated LCD panel.

Finding the right case to transport to a LAN party or fit on a desk with minimal real estate can sometimes be a daunting task. The dimensions between typical ATX cases and micro ATX cases are sometimes very significant, and when space it at a premium, users need to find something that will fit their needs just right. SilverStone has been creating SFF cases for several years now, and the SG03 is their latest version of the SUGO line of cases. This case really goes down a different path from SilverStone's other previous SFF cases, and really tries to blend the benefits of a typical ATX case with the compactness of a micro ATX case.

The Sugo SG02 is a small form factor case for MicroATX motherboards which is based on the SG01 Evolution but brings it to the mainstream segment at a much lower price point. The interior of the SFF case is kept very simple but efficient, which makes installation a breeze, while the very unusual white color variant will certainly stand out on any desk, living room or LAN party and goes great with a silver optical drive or two.

Taking a closer look at the front of the case it is a simplistic design, no bling, just the requisite power and reset buttons and the power and drive leds and the Silverstone logo. Less is DEFINITELY more in this case (no pun intended).

We don't look at many cooling fans at Phoronix, but after being impressed by a variety of SilverStone products over the years -- such as the Sugo SG03, Temjin TJ09, and Zeus ST75ZF -- when SilverStone told us about some new variable speed fans they had released, we decided to take a look at them. The fans we are looking at in this review include the SilverStone FM83 and FM123.

Luxurious design, stylish looks, quality craftsmanship...these are all staples of a Silverstone case. But innovation in the small form factor market? That's something they haven't been able to claim, until now. Silverstone's SG03 gives a new look to an old form factor, and HardwareLogic has the inside scoop!

Silverstone is known for their Lascala line of high quality HTPC cases. Since their initial introduction, this line of HTPC cases has been continuously rated the best in their field. Riding on this success, Silverstone has decided to start a new line of HTPC cases. Entitled Grandia, this new series will still have the same fit and finish of previous Silverstone chassis but with some added new features. Today we are reviewing the first case in this series, the GD01S-MXR.

For this review I will be looking at a new product from the highly respected pc hardware manufacturer SilverStone. The product up for review is in fact a new power supply not your "normal" run of the mill power supply it is in fact the DA850 an 850watt power supply from the Decathlon range. My only reservation about this power supply is the fact it is 100% modular and I am a bit of a skeptic where these types of power supplies are concerned. However I will try anything once and coming from a company with a reputation like Silverstone has I am expecting some pretty good results, I guess only time will tell.
