Media center PC's are all the rage these days, with people swapping out their stand-alone DVD players for slim PC's. Unfortunately, a PC doesn?t have its own screen like a DVD player. And that's where SilverStone come in, or should I say SoundGraph?

For those who truly need such a power supply, the Olympia 1000W's rock solid rails, rugged design and massive size truly communicate that this is no ordinary power supply.

Look Ma, no cables! Like it or not, modular cables are here to stay, and Silverstone is getting in on the action too. Featuring the same single +12V design as its wired siblings (Olympia OP series), Silverstone's new Decathlon units boast high efficiency, low noise, and lots of power. Today we put the DA750 under the scope and throw a pair of nVidia 8800GTS videocards into the mix.

The SilverStone Sugo SG03 is a SG01 on steroids and it's a sexy yet functional micro ATX chassis. You could also say the SilverStone Sugo SG03 is the Temjin TJ09 of micro ATX cases. There are a few minor details with the case that are obviously inherited from the original Sugo and the Sugo Evolution, but as a whole this is an all-new and very exciting case.

We reported on this case at CeBIT last month, and as the product is nearly ready to ship, we got an exclusive opportunity to try one out. Matt Davey gives the Silverstone SG-03 a prod and a poke.

How many 12v rails should a PSU have? This has always been somewhat debatable, some entering the single rail camp, and others preferring the route of the dual or even quad rail units. Silverstone made their mark with the Zeus range of power supplies featuring a strong single 12v rail and they aim to continue this trend of stable, solo rail units with their Decathlon series.

The PSU is more than adequate for a high end system and future high end systems with support for ATX 2.2 and EPS 12V, also the PSU comes with dual PCI-Express 8 pin connectors, something we will be shortly seeing appearing on cards, don't worry though there is also 4x normal 6 pin connectors for those seeking quad sli, or just wanting to run 2x8800 GTX cards.

Whenever I think/hear of the name 'Silverstone' I think of an extreme aluminium fetish. Far from being a bad thing, every product that they make has a fair percentage of the ultra light metal in it. The MS04 external HDD enclosure is no different, the curved body and inner tray is their trademark brushed aluminium. Whilst it is undeniably sexy, let's see whether it performs as well?

Today we will be looking at something different from the normal from Silverstone and that's the Silverstone CFP51k, what is the CFP51 you may ask, well it's a HDD to 5.25 adaptor with a difference. The CFP51 is designed to take up to 4 HDD's inside while keeping the actual bay usage down to 3. This makes this ideal for those who want to mod, or just for those seeking extra HDD space in larger cases.

When you are building a home theatre PC there are many things to consider when choosing a case. You want it to look appealing, it needs to have easy to access USB ports for easy file transfers, you want some type of LCD/VFD display, and maybe some controls on the font. Well the SilverStone LC14MCE has all of those features, plus an included IR receiver and officially licensed Windows Media Center remote. There really is not much more you could ask for. So let's take a look...

With time we have seen computers go from a single GPU and processor to dual and quad core CPUs with a number of different options for multi-GPU systems. As we have shoved more and more into our systems, the power supplies have gone from a single +12V rail to multiple +12V rails. Dual +12V rails has been very common in recent years, while recently at Phoronix we had looked at a few quad +12V rail power supplies such as the SilverStone Zeus 750W and the OCZ GameXStream 700W. However, the more +12V rails does not necessarily make a better power supply. What we are looking at today is one of SilverStone's newest power supplies, which was recently on display at the Consumer Electronics Show. The SilverStone Olympia OP650 is a 650W power supply that supports both the current 6-pin PCI Express power connector as well as the new 8-pin version, and supports 54 Amps on its single +12V rail.
