Many music fans have their collections distributed across a variety of media and technologies, resulting in snarled cables, stacks of burned CDs and general file format chaos. The most powerful member of TerraTec's NOXON family is a single solution for all applications. The wholly-black NOXON (215x120x110 mm, 1.1kg) looks like a retro DAB radio, but it houses a lot more technology under the hood. For starters, there's an iPod base station, wireless Internet radio, podcast receiver, and multi-format network audio player.

Today I will be looking at a product from a manufacturer that I personally don't know a great deal about, you however maybe more familiar with the name of TerraTec. The product I will be reviewing is a digital tv card the Cinergy 2400i DT. This is a dual digital tuner card, nothing special there you may think BUT this card uses a pci express x1 slot which is refreshing as, in my honest opinion, most manufacturers overlook this expansion slot.

The Terratec Noxon iRadio 2 for iPod arrived Technic3D. The NOXON iRadio 2 is also a network audio player that lets you enjoy the music on your hard drive anywhere in the house. All of its functions can be controlled with the remote or using buttons directly on the device. WLAN standards and encryption types are supported. See you in the following Review which qualities the Noxon iRadio 2 with Apple iPod presents.

An interesting concoction of music technologies, offering internet radio, FM radio, network audio, and an iPod dock. However, it has fussy looks and minor build issues and the cheap remote disappoint for a £200 product. Browsing large collections on an iPod via the remote and small screen is also something of a chore.

The first thing that I noticed about the Headset Master 5.1 was the weight of them, coming in at "450g" which isn't light, but I was expecting them to have a bit of weight having 6 speakers. A highlight for me here was the Removable Microphone, 2m of cable length and the Protective Bag that not all Headsets are supplied with.

TerraTec's PHASE X24 FW external FireWire soundcard is a 'professional' version of the company's PHASE 24 FW. Featuring a solid range of connection options and FireWire technology housed in an attractive and compact aluminium chassis, the device is an excellent choice for laptop-based musicians looking to improve their onboard audio solution...

I am finding it hard to conclude this review as I am impressed with the quality that the Aureon 7.1 Space produces but because of the driver problems I find it hard to recommend, the benchmark results speak for themselves in terms of quality but I can see a novice user running into a lot of trouble with the Space 7.1 and not only with the drivers, Sensaura is a great EAX emulator but will a novice be able to activate the option without and problems I don't think so. This card could do great things with the right drivers. But the price is the main thing that this has got going for it and with that in mind you will be amazed at the sound quality that the Space produces, not only for music but also for games...

To an extent, TV tuner cards either work or they don't. This one certainly does and produces quality pictures from both its tuners. As long as you have plenty of space on your hard drive, the PVR functions built into either Windows MCE or PowerCinema enable you to record your favourite programs, whether scheduled or live and independent of what you're watching. No other card we're aware of on retail sale in the UK can do this. It makes the Cinergy 2400i DT novel for the moment, but even when rival products come along, the quality of hardware design and efficacy of the Cyberlink software may well keep its nose in front...

Terratec has done a stellar job cramming the functionality it has into such a small device. However, while it is extraordinary small and very portable, that makes also makes it very fragile. The device draws 480mA of current and gets noticeably warm to the touch. This didn't affect its operation, but if you're running it on a laptop, it's another 2.4 watts to make the battery run down faster. You don't need a hugely powerful system to operate the tuner, but the more processing power you've got, the better off you'll be, particularly if using PowerCinema in all its fancy-menu glory...

This was pretty impressive due to its size and I could not fault the device itself. I was impressed with the cyberlink software as it is basically MCE but with slight differences as this means that all you notebook users that want a Media center laptop could save your self's a huge chunk of money with this device.. Everything worked well. But I had one gripe, this is a portable device right! Well the tuner is but the remote well its quite large and has led to me leaving it behind when I go out. All I take is the tuner, analogue aerial and the coaxial adaptor. It isn't a major issue but it would have been nice to have some sort of bag to put the remote and accessories in...

After 2 weeks of testing the card in MCE and under XP I was more than satisfied with its performance. The time shifting was excellent and worked like a charm and the recording quality was up to scratch not one of the 25 recordings I made with this card had any sync problems and I have to admit myself this is an achievement on its own. The MCE compatibility of this card is what appealed to me most but I am quite surprised with its overall performance on XP. The software that comes with the card for on XP is excellent and I couldn't find 1 problem...
