The Thermalright Ultra-120 is an extremely well designed heatsink capable of providing just about the best cooling available at this time. Thermalright boasts that they are number one, and they may have a case under the right circumstances. The Tuniq Tower 120 might have something to say about Thermalright's self proclaimed championship, but the differences in performance are so slight that they may have to settle for being co-champions.

The HR-01 is one of the best silent coolers that I have seen in recent times, the shear ability to use the Heat sink as a passive heat sink shows the quality of the manufacturing process and the imaginative fan duct is something that Thermalright should be proud of. That brings me to the fan duct, not only does it give you a drop it temperature of over ten Celsius but it is also UV reactive so all you modders out their looking for something different and silent to boot well look no further than the HR-01.

The HR-01 is well made, has a striking appearance, is silent, and utilizes a clever design. While I think a 16 degree drop in the CPU during extended gaming over the stock solution is enough to warrant serious
consideration, when you add this impressive performance to its silence and the relative ease of installation you simply can't ignore the HR-01...

The cooler that probably brought Thermalright much of their current respect and prestige was their SLK range. This copper Abbreviation for central processing unit. The heart of the computer where all data flows through. Examples of a CPU are Intel Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon.CPU cooler redefined what was possible using air and remained the standard against which other air coolers were judged for quite some time, in fact even today it's about as efficient as air coolers get for its size and weight. Anyway, today it's not CPU cooling we're looking at, it's GPU cooling, or if you're an ATi fan, VPU cooling. The V1 Ultra is the slightly more muscled brother of the V1 which is pretty much identical but for its two rather than three heat-pipes. We don't bother with half measures here though and straight for the daddy, the V1 Ultra...

Ask for a good air cooling solution for your socket A rig and most people around here will say Thermalright. The cooler itself is silver in color but don't let that fool you. The base is made of nickel plated copper with four heat pipes running up to a fairly good size cooling surface of aluminum fins measuring approximately 96mm square. While not as large as the Zalman 7700 series of coolers it still may present some interference problems...
